anyone know what happened at 12 oclock ish, i thought we were up for a good day. Just short term profit taking???

do you think price has already risen in anticipation of dividend or do you think there is more gains to come before the 14th april

morning, anyone know this spring's ex divi date, i can only find past year dates,(around the beginning of april) but i dont know if im missing anything. im a bit of a novice but looked at numerous sites with no success.

a good day, well overdue, i would expect a wee bit of a retrace in the morning ( 5% increase in onay by a ftse 100 co.on a day with no real news is a bit much not to expect a little bit of profit taking) then up, up and away, steadily hopefully.Then with news of increased dividends and it will be back up where it belongs in high 90s.

you are spot on and we deserve to be happy. this share ( along with others) has had a hard ride, since about november. an established business, which has produced huge, though im led to believe unpopular with some of the staff , cost savings, has an increasing new sales business, and high profile high street name this will steadily move up.with luck and confidence of course.

hope you are right, just looking at huge price increase past couple of days i cant imagine profit taking not happening, im for the longer run as i can see back in mid 80s shortly.

i predict early ups then plenty of profit taking so a bit flat by the end, hope not , but i think thats how it will pan out.

i for 1 am pleased the speculation, and that is all it was, of a bid by resolution is over. our core business is fine ( as our interims will show) and the only reason for the dramatic change in the price in the last 2 or 3 months has only been caused by the sentiment in finacial and hence the insurance sectors, this volatility will probably continue, but on a reduced rate from this week after the financials give their reports. im sure their will be quick money to be made but im in for the long term and im certain there will be a staedy rise this year, and of course healthy dividends.

another poor ( in comparison to peers) day. ive spent hours today cant find any eeason for poor showing. anyone know what im missing ?

any ideas why after good sector ratings and rise of other insurers, lgen should ,drop apart from short term profit taking from yesterday?

hi. no real news, rumours of a takeover have been knocking about for months but i think the dividend alone about 3-4 % is worth a step in alone.

i can only assume profit taking in the short term, i cant see any news from rise this morning

can anyone explain how come the financial sector up between 2 and 3% but lgen less than the 1point ?

so why the drop today if the signs are so obvious to everyone, not just those that want to believe?

these are still volatile times, just look back to 22p a share earlier in the year. i think the business is rock solid, the dividends will be excellent and that alone makes this still a good share to hold.

arent we just wishing resolution to make a bid for lgen, surely if they are ggoing to pick up these 6 million tomorr, they would have weighed in last week at 75p
