News today is threatening further lockdowns.

Based on UK lockdowns, i suspect a drop below 3.00 today.

I think online shopping as a whole went ballistic during the lockdown. Just pop over to the Royal Mail Chat and any postie will tell you that their vans were rammed everyday. some said it was busier than any Christmas.

With the closure of many high street brands, covid has pushed forward the online buying trend.

so in the words of Professor Brian Cox, Things are only gonna get better.

The Union is always going to be a problem for this share. Posties are never happy, i read all their posts on their FB page.. always bloody moaning about something. they will strike if their shoelaces are the wrong length.

the company need to upgrade machinery in many of their major sorting plants, and this will take time to implement and get right.. i dont see this share returning for anyone in the short term... come back in 2021 maybe even 22.

OliGarch - personally i think it will go lower than 1.70 i sold yesterday at 2.18 after a further buy-in at 1.30... so im quids in (slightly)
This share has a few years to start any kind of serious climb back to over 3-4.00
the unions are a biggg problem with this firm, and until a resolution is sorted, i see this share going nowhere fast but down again.

i know they are upgrading machinery to deal with the parcel side of the business, but again, i don't see this changing anything until 2021-22.

Peoplepower... if you were to choose one book, or even three to start learning more about the stock market, which would you choose?

Ok, so what does this mean for shareholders? is the price still going to rise, or is this going to stagnate and die?

steveknowsnothin - obviously you can probably tell, i'm not the biggest investor in the world.. i did consider the possible loss at 270, and i'm also inclined to to just buy more before it goes back up over 3.00.. but all in all, i think im going to do nothing and ride the storm. i see some negative posts on this thread, but most seem to be positive on the "Hold" or "Buy More" attitude.

Hi Vorag - I'm in at various prices between 223 and 310. obviously most of my profits are in the low to mid range prices I'm not at a loss as yet, although certainly down by half the profit i was on Friday morning.

I agree this may go down on Tuesday before it rises again. I do believe in this stock long term, but i am inclined to place a stop loss around the 270 mark for half my holdings, and hope it doesn't go that low.

I want to stay the course and look forward to the September results, but i am just slightly concerned that this Leicester Scandal is going to get worse before it gets better. and although Boo's trading results will be good, the scandal may hold back the share price.. and therefore profits.

Thanks Ocean... if you were me and had a small holding, would you sell and hope for a lower buy in, or stay the course and just wait for it to rise again? I lost half my profits on Friday.. ??

I'm looking at this stock and thinking it may drop again when the markets open.

I'm not a big investor, but at the current price I'm about £400 up. I think I would prefer to chance my luck and sell and buy back in when the price drops.

Yeah, it may well go back up over £3.00, but I think this will drop more before it rises again.

Anyone else got thoughts on this?
