RE: Price14 Sep 2023 08:55
i think, to fill these orders quickly and upscale/improve their manufacturing output to match this wonderful demand they will need money. i thought the raise you spoke of was to get the product to market by end sept. i don’t think the swift and vast order rate was wholly expected so soon!
vox interviews suggested discov-r would be manufactured in us then passed to china later. not sure what affect the new deal will have on that. my guess is it speeds things up. they are burning money fast enough.
i think they will need a bit more to get the first orders out swiftly. then hopefully revenue covers the next wave etc etc
i have been wrong about most things. but with *** packet maths that was where i got. i am not a business person so for me i don’t see why they can’t borrow short term and swiftly repay! the orders are there. business people will tell us why not.
but after these interim results i wouldn’t mind knowing where the ‘revenue’ is for the 2800 units plus that their december announcement talked of.
that must be 2.5 million or so that wasn’t in last year’s and not in this half year! these were xplor units sold. someone must know. this is what many based investment on since december. so where is the revenue. i assume they don’t have a ‘buy now pay later’ scheme?
and i don’t mind hearing why. i just want my numbers to add up to their information. right now it doesn’t… unless people can tell me otherwise.
the company have done well. better than well. but for current ‘orders’ to be viewed as real then surely we must see evidence of past units sold? that’s all i’m asking for really.
if the half year reported revenue of 2.2million everything else would tie in. but at 400k we are woefully light. that then brings the ‘need’ for money even closer.
let’s trust what we have been told. the china agreement is huge the orders are huge and the future is hopefully bright.
