Not sure he spent much time investing in the pink sheets in the US....but I see the point your trying to make!
Of course - the £9k didnt work out and closed the position yesterday with a few hundred loss. Gamble didnt pay off.
The £20K at 350p I sold on the back of the massive rally at 450
I still have the original £20k at 220p in here; but will sell if we reach that level to preserve the funds and the £29k back in this morning.
So up - but I wont hestitate to sell if the price action looks to put that in to a losing position. Never sat in a losing position, never will.
He's back ?
Are you talking about house prices?
For me it all depends on what the Gov do with any potential QE.....if we end up in an inflation driven world; it could stump the housing market somewhat.
Quite simply - folk wont be able to afford the bricks and mortar nor the Mortgage!
Thanks.
Van - cant see it being negative.....just a case of timing (my personal thoughts captured in another thread - it will come.....just when)
My main point of interest is the margin on the test. Half the calcs on here are taking the revenue expected per test. All very interesting, but probably wants a good 50-70% knocking off go production/managment/licensing/export etc costs.
Who knows - only NCYT. Bio's arnt my specific specially, in other industries 30% would be very healthy.
Van - it is essentially now though in terms of revenue; might not be a "core" product in the brochure but its cash cow.
Of course I'm guessing!
This whole game of AIM investing is a case of joining up the dots and establishing if its worth a trade or not.
"shortly" means diddly squat; what the definition of "shortly" ?
Deramp? Good call mate - thought I would deramp my own £49k investment.
For most we are in the "I'm so far down, whats another 20% - may as well hold, news must be around the corner to save me" phase.
Everyone on the board seems to be expecting immediate sales news......
Realistically, this is weeks away in my view.
Yes we have a product, 4M a month capacity being increased to 8M over the next 3 months and a wide customer base.
However, for the quantities needed and sums of money involved - it quite simply takes time to agree that sort of purchase contract! It isnt a a few days!
It will come - but I think people need to be realistic here on the timescales.
Its just an algorithm that works it out based on the execution price vs the true BID/ASK.
Generally, it get right......but will struggle on trades that sit across the mid point of the BID/ASK.
Its something I've personally never really understood why the stock just isnt labelled as its true BUY/SELL marker. Would save people having to second guess it all the time.
Often over looked - if the price is dropping, its basically be sold.
Yes, MMs knock it about a bit, but days of drops means there are more SELLERS in the market than BUYERS. Its just a glorified voting machine - dont be fooled by those claiming "Massive BUY/SELL" - it could really be either, just tally it up to the price trends to decipher it.
But for a limited time.....
It makes NCYT a cash rich business in "one hit" - but the longevity isnt there.
Hence the wild market cap predictions putting this at a Billion quid are quite fanciful
Boom or bust though lads!?
If the core returns Dust - whats next for TYM? eerrrrrmmm......
Nah - TV is a fairly complicated industry that is in effect slowly dying - but will evolve. Just look at the number of the studios that have been lost over the last few years.
Can't see anyone really want to take the challenge on and taking this over.
Doesn't mean that ITV in itself wont succeed - it continues to thrive and evolve. Just COVID has applied its effect to the market cap.
Ok mate
Happy to post like it's going out of fashion on the way up tho eh lad?
Agreed mate - it will come in, no longer a punt or gamble. We have the product, the sales will come in and it's not even a case of having to tout the product.
Haha - 'clueless chumps like me'.
Have a read of some past posts.
Deary me - been doing this 10yrs plus, very very well.
We only need a very small slice of that pie....
Monumental market.
Here it comes!!!!! Screaming BUY
Sandman,
Thanks for taking the time - a reasoned and logical post.
