You would have thought they would want to draw investors attention to the fact that one fund took nearly 50% of the placing.

Again more questions than answers as so often is the case with ABDX

Yeah I did!! I thought I would try and lift the price, but then they offered 1 share at 6.2p after!!

SING definitely manipulating the SP, they are offering 1 share at 6.2p so as to not move the price.

I think we have a large background buyer but I am slightly wary as MMs like to play tricks.

What was evident was the collaboration between the 3 companies, with each company offering different stages of the supply chain and complementary to each other.

From the HyProMag POV a few things that I picked up on:

1. First batch of NdFeB powder is being shipped to a customer in the two week.

2. Detailed design work for HyProMag USA is "a long way through" which sounds more advanced than 25%

3. Finished magnets have been tested and validated by Jaguar Land Rover, GKN, Bentley, Bowers and Wilkins

4. Department for Business and trade are currently "very active" in the rare earth field as a precursor for the upcoming critical mineral strategy and

defence is a big focus for them.

5. HyProMag UK are "well through" a feasibility study for a plant expansion to 1000TPa by 2030 or sooner.

6. HyProMag are looking for feedstock not just in UK,EU and US but also further afield. Estimate 5000T of magnets are imported into the UK which should

be available as EOL scrap.

This is my take on the situation, a lot of reading between the lines here and I might be totally inaccurate as Abingdon don't divulge much information.

They had a poor year in terms of organic growth, if you strip out the two other businesses then we were flat or below revenue for the previous year.

This I believe was due to a lack of traction in getting products (LFTs) into production, (only salistick i believe).

The company subsequently have shifted focus to the compliance and regulatory side of the market (CS & Ivdeology).

The end of year investor presentation was delivered by Chris Hand and the CFO (who I was less than impressed with) and not Yates, which I found odd as he usually fronts all presentations.

He was then stood down from CEO duties which CH taking over. They gave him a fancy title of "President of Abingdon Health US" and sent him off to USA.

This might have all been amicable but again a bit odd.

We then had CY throwing his toys out of the pram but blocking certain investors following him on Linkedin and also the board refusing to declare what the options targets were.

So was this a two fingers up to the board by selling a few shares?

Not enough to do real damage but enough to make a point?

As I say, all conjecture and I maybe completely wrong but we shall see.

As sad as it is to see redundancies, I think this was inevitable when they bought the two businesses.

There will be a certain overlapping on the admin and finance side of the business that can be amalgamated.

A way for Abingdon to streamline the businesses and make them more profitable.
