2016 revenue was 10M shy. The retail home delivery market is gaining traction because business rates make high street retailing unfeasible. There is consolidation happening in the market. Last time I checked Royal mail were pushing up their prices

Look I think you are being irrational. 2015 revenue was £297.5m. Like you said you see value in this share otherwise you wouldn't have averaged down.

I've stated what I expect. It is still well undervalued. Think like an institutional investor DX will come back they are still profitable and their value will be appreciated in the long term

Still holding after I dumped half of my shares at 672. Playing the long game as I still believe it is undervalued by 10-15%. I am expecting news in a few weeks which will send this share upward more!

I believe the buyback is working as intended. See my post the other day there has been a recorded rise of over 12.5% for only a 25% of the total value of the buyback planned for this year. Assuming a rush to get in for the the end of year div also and buyback for scrip this will add to the demand of HSBA shares with tightening supply. There will also be those who want to sell to realise their capital gains (more tax efficient than a special dividend) which will steady the share price. In the longer term HSBC can maintain dividends at current level due with a reduced float . I can see this going close if not exceeding £7 mark early to mid 2017
