Agreed .. and likewise .... problem is, in trading over NAV ..... the fund mangers have been selling new shares, that makes sense, but the market will not like it .... so not too surprising that the share valuation have dropped below NAV.

Not a good idea to issue new shares with the share price falling ....

Soft currency ..... when I was in the Eastern Block pre 1990 the exchange rate in the black market for roubles to $'s was 5 times the official exchange rate ...

My view is that dire news would be leaked to the Nigerian exchange so the share manipulation on the LSE is spoofing ….

This share jumped around all over the place last year … it likely cost the MMS a few Bob so they or someone else have brought in a HFT or bot if you prefer to control the share price ….

…. algos have no emotions so as a retail investor you have to decide if the algo is spoofing you to sell low or if there is really bad news out there to justify the current pricing.

I was looking at trades published on Seplat web site the spread is wide

Price is still around 700 Nira in Nigeria .. equating to 127p in UK with current soft currency exchange rate .... not that the exchange rate means too much but is an indicator.

71.4p small buy for me ... no sign of letting up just yet .. shorters are careful to keep the closing price falling.

PEEL and WINS are the aggressive MMs from my observations and they are not showing much interest on the upside today but 3.4p spread is a little narrower ...

Much higher volumes today ..... with larger buys on the top end of the price action delayed from this morning ....

If it’s a wash trade of a hedge fund selling across its own subsidiaries then the risk is zero.

This looks to be the future for gas in my view ….

80-90% is wow .. and in the home.

This fund still trades above NAV meaning the market likes the fund managers … growth or income, that is the question, while most closed funds are seeing a drop in income levels this past year because of CV19.

At least 10% of NAV fall is down to a stronger £ meaning that dividends will be expected to drop by 10% going forwards.Even taking off 10% of the yield gives a return of 7% … and excellent for folk that want income.

I guess we find out tomorrow morning what we would have liked to have known today ...

... my feelings are that whoever has been playing with this share price doesn't know the results .. because the fiddling on level II has been going on a tad too long in my view ....

.. but we will see.

Annoying isn't it LuckCounts .... but other oilies on my watch list save Dec, BP and RDSA&B have stayed pretty much flat ... so it's a bit of manipulation in my view .. with big money moving into the oily majors ....

.. these others I have in funds so have avoided for replication.

Sepl will, however, move 20% in a few days when it moves .... just have to keep fingers crossed it's on the upside ...

.. still while manipulation was obvious ... took money off the table 96-97 got back in 92.8-94 so made a few quid ...

On cue …. 91p buy placed at 5.00am this morning …. As the target price today … again?

I read recently that shorts on Sterling are increasing .... the UK is a smallcap country with no EU relartionship to protect its interests ... Mr Market can smell blood so watch the Sterling sell off post November's rate rise.

Still a hedgie in the background here ..... taken some off the table 96-97 .. still time for a jerk down to 90p before results.
