Firering Strategic Minerals: From explorer to producer. Watch the video here.
Thanks for that cracking information LZ.
Exciting times ahead.
While the gasoline-fed fire eventually consumed the second test vehicle, leaving it a smoldering heap of charred steel and melted glass, the hydrogen fire was over in less than two minutes and left the hydrogen-tank equipped test car virtually undamaged. In fact, the heat inside the car never got above 67 degrees (F). Dr. Swain points out that while the gasoline fire started as the result of a simple, small hole in the fuel line, for the hydrogen fire to occur, it would have taken the catastrophic failure of four separate safety systems, all at the same time, a highly unlikely occurrence".

A good paper on how safe H2 is.

Thanks LedZep.
I too would have said one and the same.
Stokey/Michael, spot on numbers.
I would also say that from the numbers I did when we were looking at 1t of H2 per day from 25t of plastic that the current 2t per day H2 from 35t of plastic will make it pretty marginal as to whether recycling of plastic actually produces less CO2 than recovering its energy via the PHE DMG.
Good post LedZep.
Would you be good enough to keep us updated as to what you can see happening on the ground once work starts?
Remember, Peel are now taking care of funding for at least the first 5 PHE DMG units.
The first one will be up and running this year with 4 more to follow next year.
Each one earning PHE £0.5m a year as soon as commissioned.
TakeAimFire, are you aware of what W2T is chomping at the bit to do in Se. Asia?
He believes we should stop the plastic getting into the oceans first and then clean up the oceans.
Take a listen to this (the others are worth listening to too), https://soundcloud.com/user-445481917/hello-hydrogen-podcast-episode-1
Wouldn't surprise me at all.
Badshah, I know it is an annual fee but the PHE RNS did not confirm that which is why I referenced the W2T announcement which does.
From the PHE RNS,
"The Supplemental Agreement allows Peel to act as the developer of Protos and
four further DMG® sites in the UK pending finalising the proposed acquisition
of W2T by PowerHouse, with W2T relinquishing its entitlement to UK exclusivity
for the technology and development rights of PowerHouse's DMG® technology."
Protos plus 4 others = 5 = £2.5m!
Hi jabberba, from the 11th Feb RNS it says PHE will receive a £500.000 licence fee for each of the projects upon commissioning.
The W2T announcement from the 8th Feb confirms that this is an annual payment per DMG.
So it looks like Peel has negotiated a flat annual licence fee regardless of the output for these first units (possibly in return for funding the FOAK).
At the moment we don't know whether PHE will revert to the Royalty model for subsequent installations or stay with a simpler licence fee.
I like the fact that the licence fee is payable once commissioned, this means we have earnings much sooner.
So by the end of this year, or very early next, we should have earnings from 1 DMG of £0.5m, by the end of 2021 we should have earnings of £2.5m from 5 units from Peel alone.
I would expect that once the FOAK is up and running there will be further licences granted for other interested parties so this could snowball very quickly.
haha, yes they can but they have such low quality CV that they're a complete waste of time as you only get hot air out of them.
Yes, DMG can gasify virtually anything organic.
Thanks taskmaster.
Stokey, maybe that hasn't occurred to them, perhaps you should bring it to their attention.
Stokey, the way I read it the funding of the FOAK is now in the hands of Peel, I don't for one minute think they will have a problem with funding, from either within or external to Peel.
Stokey, I'm surprised that you didn't come across this in the 9th May 2019 RNS during your research.
"W2T has also arranged back up supply lines for the DMG® plant in the event of delays."
Hi Gadams, yes a senior moment from me.
Likewise, no worries from me either.
We have a fantastic future and we won't be an easy takeover either once the takeover of W2T goes through.
I wish, make that 1.3p.
Looks like the gap at 130p is now closed.
But of course in 2021 it won't be Peel alone, nor will it be just the UK.
