Ben Richardson, CEO at SulNOx, confident they can cost-effectively decarbonise commercial shipping. Watch the video here.
this is Arecor, ticker AREC.L not AGY
looks exciting for holders there
now that was clever!
yes, I too was rather pleased with this tender!
I (p)repurchased the minimum I was guaranteed to dispose of in the tender offer at around 280 at the beginning of sept. Am aiming to repurchase the remainder when the discount to NAV drops back again
I think there should be plenty of people who can see the obvious quantitative financial implications of this RNS.
Like others, I have been in this for years, having done a v encouraging back of the envelope calculation years ago. It is a large fraction of my p/f even at yesterday's valuation
Really like the calm, efficient way this company is run. No fuss, just steady execution. Perhaps the best holding in my p/f !
no worries! unpaid clerical work is not something you should apologise for Selecta
will be very nice if I turn out to be right!
You missed mine (4p) but with a "I don't know" caveat
You missed mine (4p) but with a "I don't know" caveat
I really don't know, but I'll say 4p for the sake of making the game interesting!
Its a joke
machine was used for proto-typing. Actually was quite cost-effective way of developing product!
I don't know, but perhaps they are not all sells - often the automatic assignment of buys and sells is misled because the true spread is not symmetrically placed within the published spread. i.e. if published spread is 32 - 33 but one is quoted 32.49 to buy it will be automatically identified as a sell. If they were all sells one would expect MMs to adjust the price down, which hasn't happened.
Can be many reasons to sell which are unrelated to company news. i.e. need cash, or need to wrap assets within tax-sheltered account, or see better use for investment elsewhere.
I am not worried!
half-way there - confess I had another top-up this afternoon
on my last top up on 5th August.
Still well underwater overall though. But happy this might help to prevent the spread in India. I am of the view that the world needs this technology - see this article

and I was happy to risk my capital to help it along.
Thanks DG!
Thanks Riverbliss, Liberium say "our purpose is to deliver good ideas to institutional clients" so I guess this rise is caused by the initiation of institutional purchases, albeit at a pretty modest level so far.
Nice!
anyone know what has caused the sharp SP rise today?
I've speculated before that the sheer volume and energy of the posts knocking this company could be considered a buy signal - why would anyone bother if they didn't want to buy in at a lower price?
I do entertain the possibility that last week I sank further good money after my already-sunk investment (> 50% down) but I do think there are enough promising developments in the pipeline to be worth the risk
this share has had a nice little run-up this week on the two monday RNSs. All seems calm and good.
As far as I can see the terms of the takeover look consistent with shareholder value. But I confess I have had a little top-slice today and have now got a free holding plus cash in the bank (having originally bought ISL @ 126p in 2016 - one of my better Simon Thompson tip purchases!)
