To be fair to yourself, it could have gone either way post consolidation. I think the trading debacle and lack of immediate good news scuppered it from the off. However, recovery could be fast and very exciting in the very near future, days even. It's a hold for me.

I don't intend to sell as yet. It is a point of principle. Other brokers have done it.

I've just ripped into HL big style. They assure me it will be done within an our or so. Still unacceptable. This is the AIM market here where timing is everything.

I have just been told directly from HL that I can trade ADME but not MXO until they have transferred the stock and that they are in the hands of a third party on this i.e. the company. This is simply not joined up thinking.

That would seem quite likely.

Still no consolidation on HL.Here is their earlier e-mail received on 30/5/19 :-

The Board of MX Oil plc has announced a reorganisation of the Company's Share Capital. Shareholders as at the close of business on Friday 7 June 2019 will have their holding consolidated, receiving 1 new share in place of every 100 previously held. The new consolidated Shares are expected on Monday 10 June 2019. Please note we will credit the Shares to your account upon receipt from the registrar which may not be before 8.00am on Monday 10 June 2019.

The Board is also proposing to change the name of the company from MX Oil plc to ADM Energy plc.

We will write to you following the Consolidation and Name Change to confirm how your holding has been affected.

The new website was working perfectly yesterday, I even e-mailed them to point out a typo.

The expected new Chairman will not be confirmed until after consolidation and the name change is complete. Relax. Have a little more patience.

chimers: Also while we are at it the SHARE PRICE is NOT going to rise it is locked down at .3 and that's where it's going to remain. It will bounce about the spread up and down and stay where it is, it is being consolidated. It is actually in your best interest that it does not rise, otherwise it would be chasing the dragon after consolidation. Much better to start flat on the newbuild. You cant price and value and cost deals on a moving bus.

12% rise pre-trading. I shall watch this today.

This news should liven things up next week, prior to consolidation and name change. Fun times methinks.

One also might expect to see a positive impact on the SP in the run up to it, although I happen to believe that significant gains are to be made further down the line. Certainly, the opportunity to very significantly de-risk is likely in the coming week or so.
