My first buy iinto kc was about 10 yrs ago at £3 a share my last buy was at their lowest price of just over !0p, my average buy price now stands at 19 pence a share. My best buy ever was AFC at 2.8p I recommend buying them and CFU. My worst buy TAN. Have you got any tips that you might like to share
36.5 p there must be some news or rumour but i have no idea what is happening but i am asking around i have a few contacts that supply kc with kit so i will see what they know good luck to all holders it would be nice if they hit their max pricewhich as far as i remember was £12 but £1 would do me
Yes perhaps i am beeing a little unfair, my last dealing witj kc was with a senior member of the management team, She had no tech knowledge and her only concern was appearence and spin, her finger nails were that long and manicured that she would have been unable to use a keyboard. on the plus side i get a good speed and their kit is technically good and dispite the monopoly the cost is not bad My credentials I started in computers in Canbridge under Maurice Wilkes at the govenments computer aided design centre back in the 70s . we were developing a network with the GPO between cambridge and the Atomic research centre and a few othe govenment agencies, working on the Atlas Computer (manchester MK2)
If another telecoms company entered into hull. Kcoms would lose my custom and a load of others would switch as well. Thank fully hull city council is not a large share holder as they sold a lot of their shares, The council mismanaged telecoms and so have the present directors. They have too many suits and soliciters on their staff their customer service is rubbish in fact they are useless, they cant even keep their investors information on their web site up to date.. However i will keep om holding as they pay a dividend
no idea as for reason of price rise except that it is now approaching what it should be next news should be of intrim divis but that is a few months away, lets see how high this will go will it break 35 p?
the share is now at last realising some of its potential i wonder how long it will lastlet us hope it is still above 30 tomorrow
some big buys mainly protected transaction 2 separate big trades for about a million shares each. 3 Mill share brought 182,000 sold, so the big money thinks kcom has somewhere to go. I am still suprised that this share does not seem to want to rise above 30 though i expect it will top 30 by end of year. 30p is a good price for a share that pays a reasonable dividend
some interesting buys today 3 trades of exactly 1514 at 28,5 at 3 different times and the same happening with share sales of 1254 shares also at 28.5 . Then late tradeing showed 2 large protected transactions. Someone knows somrething we dont?
Im in Hull and have contacts inside kkcoms. And i have no info on any reason for price rise, but it is nice to see. If i hear any news will post it here
Been speaking to a director about a New scientist article on methane as a green house gas. from what i am lead to understand is that news will be out soon .however regulations means he can not make any comments,He was however in a very good mood so maybe good news on the horizon,
Notice the dates on the trades they are 2 late reported trades There was also a late reprted trade today from the same day as before, Hope this may help
2 buys at 210,000 shares seem to agree with you. They have a good product with patents and a needed product, so should do well. let's hope we dont get too many daytraders in
Ive just brought 7032 at 8.43 so I will be watching this share So hello all nice to meet you
I expect the dividend to be down from last year but not by much, but I think it will be still a good payout., So good luck and fingers crossed for all holders.
How come whenever you post about the big rollout pices fall? What is this big rollout?
http://www.londonstockexchange.com/LSECWS/IFSPages/MarketNewsPopup.aspx?id=2150569&source=RNS Sorry for that I think all is right now my deep apologies to all it must be the excitement of seeing Alk prices rise.
http://www.shareprice.co.uk/ALK/ALKANE-ENERGY Still looking good. Burning waste methane is becoming more practical, and removes dangerous green house gas ,as well as creating electricity. Perhaps the public are waking up to the future.
