Small POV here from a relatively short term holder (bought in last March...sold final shares in Feb...).
Anyone sitting on a reduced value waiting for a counter bid should look at the opportunities the market presents today.
I pulled out losing £6.5k after the offer from ANglo but have subsequently reinvested in a bunch (well 2) of core tiny penny shares I’ve been monitoring for a while, both of which COULD realise way higher gains, and faster (and in the mining sector).
So all is not lost.
But doing some research and reinvesting NOW rather than rehashing the past will definitely, in this market, pay off.
I’m not ramping or mentioning any shares (they are there for all to see) and I’m not suggesting I avoided being a victim of SXX. I was.
But act on the situation today, people, if you want to prove you can make money on the Stock market, and trade. Let policy, procedure and legislative change take its turn, rather than waiting for it with some static holding.
All said with best intentions and sympathy for those whose losses are considerably higher than mine.
