The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with London Stock Exchange Group's Chris Mayo has just been released. Listen here.
unbelievable amount of weak hands on ARB. Last week, everyone was elated. Now the share is back at £1, the mask of some folks has slipped, even seen a few comments denouncing bitcoin as a bubble etc. Even with BTC at $35k, the fact the SP is stable at £1 indicates confidence in a stock that is sure to increase in value. Added on to the fact the company has zero debt and more computers coming online in 2 weeks, just keep away from looking if the minute by minute volatility gives you anxiety. Also bare in mind, ARB remains hugely profitable even if BTC falls to £30k for argument sake, still represents a huge profit margin above the cost of mining BTC. Medium to LTH, hold the line! In a few weeks/months, some folks will be embarrassed when they look back at the doubt they had in a company that has such a positive outlook ahead.
$34k BTC . The recovery is on the way
Goodnight folks
not even mid-February, the new machines will be online at the end of this month
"These machines will be fully installed and hashing by the week of January 25th, three weeks early. These units will add 103 petahash to the company's current SHA-256 mining capacity of 645 petahash, bringing the total to 748 petahash before the end of January."

with the amount of institutional investment, £1 a share for this stock will look cheap in a few months.
I personally don't think the SP will be 180 by Friday, but would love to be wrong on that :)
investors also need to appreciate Argo has a free float so volatility will be higher. We've seen a 20% drop today but over the past few weeks, also been shown this stock can move in 50% gains. Would not wanna get caught out when Argo does that soon
what is the RNS and when are we expected to hear on this ?
yeah I've seen Immediate Edge before. Looks dodgy IMO so I'd stay well clear. If it really was guaranteeing profits, I reckon it would be a lot more famous and recognised. The website landing page also looks quite amateur for what is supposed to be world beating software....
Just curious: are y'all also buying bitcoin and/or other crypto? or keeping to investments in companies that mine it?
Hope some of you folks that missed the dip this morning bought in again at 105. I'm holding for the medium term so won't be looking at the SP again today haha. Have a good weekend everyone, stay safe!
no-one should make that decision but yourself. If holding over a weekend worries you, then perhaps take the profits today and enjoy a good two days off. On Monday, ARB may open at a lower price than COP today, but with the explosive growth its seen in the past months and BTC continuing to set new record highs, the SP looks good for sustained upward growth over the next weeks and months
Agreed. If you anticipate the SP to continue to rise, there is no such thing as a high price. Profit is profit.
BTC up to $41k now and increased institutional involvement makes for a strong outlook in 2021
Glen SP growth has been huge today! any particular reasons why beyond copper price/USD depreciation?
280 is the next resistance price. Come on Glen!
Agreed. Last week Johnson was telling the country to accept No Deal, now he's claiming a victory with another sudden U-turn. Detail is the key. We will only begin to see what concessions he made over these past days to go from No Deal to Deal in a week. Glad that brexit is finally finishing, but it's clear the opportunities & wealth we were promised were just Tory b0ll0cks
great to see Glen pumping up and up and up! back to the days of £3+ where it should be
The outlook looking great - copper prices at a 7yr high, global economy resuming, USD depreciation makes foreign powers like China & India get more value for their purchases, and today, Glasenburg announces his retirement. Happy weekend folks! Long term holders' patience has been rewarded :D
when's the next expected Glencore dividend? last I read all 2020 pay-outs would be cancelled
thought it was just me...! saw shares up 74% I weed a little
LOL I just bought more yesterday as sp seemed stablized at 155. Never catch a falling knife eh
Reduced my average to around 2.7.... jeeeez this stock has been a real ****to live with. Then again, once this all blows over, and it will, miners will likely be one of the fastest stocks to rebound as the world economy starts up again. China appears to be over the worst of it as daily cases continue to fall and they're already beginning to ease lockdown and tell people to gradually return to work. Meanwhile, the Tories are telling us just to wash our hands and sing happy birthday. Give me strength.
1.57 is worth a punt, about to buy a bit more to average down
with the orange buffon now facing an impeachment enquiry, we can only pray for a swift end to the needless tariff war
