I remember I took a course on behavioural economics at uni. Modern day thinking is so different to traditional views of the "rational consumer" who buys low, sells high. People wouldn't touch bitcoin last year at 5k, but would queue up to buy it today at 45k. What a strange world we live in.

March RNS monthly update is gonna be a good one. Will be another sp rise in the first week of March

does anyone know why the sudden drop off today? It's not exclusive to ARB. I looked at a range of other LSE listed stocks and they all have big falls in sp around 3:30pm before recovering at EOD

Dogecoin spikes again

Nothing goes up in a straight line. Its laughable that BTC's 4% drop down to mid-45k is even mentioned as if its something to fear. Two days ago, BTC was pushing 39k. Fast forward 48hrs, some folks are worried about a small fall to 45k. Deary me

In an industry as competitive as bitcoin mining, Argo needs to expand just to stay still. Interesting RNS this morning, exciting prospect that should increase exposure to US investors

Argo will start as a bitcoin miner, then branch out into other interdisciplinary tech fields in 10-20 years time. I'm sure no-one thought a company that simply offered an online news feed like Facebook would soon be worth 750 billion. It's all about leveraging profits into M&A and evolving into developing tech trends

we also tend to forget our mining of ZCash. That's also up to $108 right now, just a few dollars off ATH

Agreed. Apple has always been at the bleeding edge of technology. There is absolutely no way they would miss out on digital currency given they have been instrumental in creating the digital infrastructure. Last summer, Apple acquired Mobeewave, a payments start up for $100m. The aim is to allow merchants to use smartphones as payment terminals by a simple tap of the card. Apple is already looking at payment disruption tech to bypass traditional banking infrastructures.

I have absolutely no doubt Apple have a shell company that is mining/buying up bitcoin, and has probably been doing so for some time.

despite its name as a cryptocurrency, bitcoin is more like an asset. Not a currency. Limited to 21m coins has parallels like gold as a finite resource. It cannot be created out of thin air like pound sterling from quantitative easing
