With the share price having fallen this much, it does seem priced for near total failure, but worth noting even if this one a total bust, it was just one of 5 tenements across Paterson the company owns.

Company also owns the Northern Territory sites which don't seem accounted for at all. Totally separate from this recent drill. Exposure to uranium, lithium and rare earths in Aus certainly has a value.

Now that bad news has been fully accounted for and we're close to end of 3 day rule, can't see much more downside from this bombed out price. Could be time to buy here.

Unfortunately this means they sold these 1911 Gold shares at equivalent of 0.72 CAD.

Its share price has literally doubled since then. Terrible.

They should have updated about this sale sooner than today because market was not able to factor in the value of their stake correctly.

Extremely promising also to see they're seeing even more visible gold on ground. Shows just how near surface the mineralisation is, bodes extremely well for future economic viability. Cannot ask for more than that.

This reaffirms that the company has a considerable amount of assets and potential to rerate from what remains a very small market cap down here.

It is interesting to see volume build and share price consolidate here while active work program underway. Has to a good sign.

Especially as we get closer to those grab assay results, followed by start of the dril. With this all to come coupled with gold doing its thing, still can't get over how low our current valuation is.

Share price has held up well here considering, cash position was known to market before today but FDR news is new to be fair, and has knocked a few million of NAV.

Company should really issue RNS about it for anyone not following FDR directly.

Traders and momentum driven movements are an unavoidable fact of making up market mechanics, no point complaining about them. This will find its true value in time. Much rather we rose incrementally than crashed and burned like other names.

With gold doing its thing, it is a bit absurd for this to now be down in the year to date. On the other hand, because of that it's presented a heck of an opportunity down here.

Short term movements on juniors like this can be extremely unpredictable. Take Mila (a stock I'm not in btw), recently pulled back 20% for no apparent reason (ring a bell?) and since then has doubled, all within last month. People jump on to these movements boosting momentum in either direction.

LND is so thinly traded, with the news expected here if anything I see far greater upside here. From this very low base, it won't take much for that virtuous buying cycle to kick in and send this flying to ultimately reach fair value.

Worth remembering those guys have billions under management and will have access to due diligence capabilities way above and beyond any of us here - their stamp of approval reveals quite a bit about the potential coming here.

I see these targets as achievable and then some

The chair's language is interesting here, in the reserved world of mining execs you get the sense he can hardly contain his excitement. "meaningful results" "exciting campaign" "Shareholders can look forward to strong news flow". These are decent clues about what's unfolding here.

Now drill campaign well and truly underway, would not surprise me if they are seeing signs of significant mineralisation on the ground already.

The silver grades alone discovered for far are shaping up to be quite epic here at up to 3,364 g/t Ag.

Plus the gallium is genuinely promising and with how few sites there are worldwide with this, I don't think market has taken this potential into account.

You get the sense the site is that abundant when the gold is almost a footnote - but check the grade reported for that too - 245 g/t!
