Hmmm..not sure whichside of the fence I am on this one, £24mil worth of stock will make them 3rd largest shareholder and own 5% of shares, and on top they also additional capital on top of this.

This hints a major shift and attempt to move away from LSE listing in the future.

It also goes against share buy backs. Take money from shareholders to pay for the deal.

It be intresting to see how much extra FCF to add to bottom line and payback period, and period of land lease.

Sounds like a awesome deal for the seller who get to invest in DEC on the cheap, will found out if good deal for DEC in return.

Some speculation here, DEc is mostly hedged, also does not mention share BB which reduce the amount on each payout of dividend this starts to add up.

There free cashflow is 100-200m per year so debt of 1.3bn I not actuall concerned by to be honest that have necessary commodity that not suddenly not going to be in demand.

So if wanted to they could clear all debt in 7-14 years assumptions that means no divi, they have very good margins.

They seem to fail to mention other very large II who bought in recently, including one of largest globally blackrock.

Shorts increased again yesterday, this is very strange like we have a bull and bear situation at teh same time

Wonder what caused the spike at the end of the day, at least we get idea of what volume is needed to move the needle, wonder if it was indexing volume buying.

Looks like one is focusing on fundmentals and other market sentiment just shows how big the gap currently is between the two has me quite torn as the exit timeline maybe much longer than I hoped for.

I think the shorts have not increased just exposed by the purchases and buy back of shares, free float is approx 40.68m

Agreed Jim800 that what I was thinking but the shorts have be holding growing for while now so what is time periods I guess is the next question

I agree I just confused how II flooding in last two quaters, yet shorts increasing, something no adding up somewhere, both have access to far more data than us, guess comes down to they view the data

Looks like some funds/trackers have jumped in on Friday in prepration for Monday which might have caused the spike at the end of day trading and post market, looks like 0.03 weighting in the index.
