Mcap = £25m
2000 oz per month could be £2m net of mining costs
Mcap = approx one year revenue
Puzzling but surely worth a punt.
Yes i’ve often thought the same thing myself Plantdad! Must be really difficult putting in an 8 hour day when sod all progress appears to be happening. I guess they are running their own furlough scheme in effect at the moment.
Im not sure this announcement warrants an RNS as all it does is say the HUI may be able to move things along quicker and may get funding to support its intended roll out, not that it actually has. Or am I missing something?
….about half of annual sales? Something very bad must be hiding else very puzzling.
I don’t wish to rain on your parade Pitlick but at the AGM last year it was stated commercial operation is unlikely until 2024. Formally appointing a build contractor and actual construction start July this year earliest. Then you have all the engineering unknowns and final testing and commissioning to contend with. Hopefully the collaboration with Manchester Uni will help along the way.
No complaints with this rise but It’s still puzzling why there are so many tiny trades. The actual volume/value traded so far relative to the shares in issue is very small. Any market experts got any comments?
Well said Keith. It does illustrate how useless the previous bod(s) were. I'm assuming he's still after a CEO who likes a challenge and can deliver on it. We need we regular positive news in this first half year from both PHE and HUI
It looks to me like Enviroo are in a similar position to PHE in that they have only Protos as a UK site for their FOAK recycling process. There is a suggestion on their web site that the CEO has done something similar in Abu Dhabi but I couldn’t find any details. Enviroo clearly have very good PR. Something PHE lacks.
I like your optimism Loads! If HUI build a working system in Ireland next year I promise to kiss the Blarney Stone (look it up) in thanks. If they build a working system in Poland next year I’ll travel to Jasna Gora and light a candle to the Black Madonna in gratitude.
I would say buying PHE shares is definitely not an investment until they have a proven commercial DMG earning income. Until then buying PHE is purely a gamble. And it’s a kind of binary play. Either it works at scale of it doesn’t. Most shareholders have bought shares because they love the idea of what the technology can deliver. Helping rid the world problem of waste plastic and using it as fuel to produce Hydrogen (or heat or electricity). What’s not to like? PHE need the right people to make it happen. They owe it to the loyal shareholders.
So now we know the main reason for the drop on Friday. Disappointing Peel couldn't be bothered to fight their case. They probably think building flats is an easier option and probably quicker than waiting to build a DMG. What a mess.
