South African petrochemical major Sasol will announce partnerships over the next few weeks with local mining companies to supply green hydrogen for their mining operations, a senior company executive said on Wednesday.

has today (September 29) announced it has entered into a technology sale agreement, worth $5m to supply its solar-to-hydrogen systems for a 3.2MW green hydrogen project in Andalucía, Spain.
The agreement, signed with Spanish developer, Gedisol, will see 144 of Fusion Fuel’s HEVO-Solar PEM electrolyser systems supplied for the project, which are estimated to produce up to 200 tonnes of green hydrogen per annum.
