Sadly something between 100 million and 1 billion birds are killed by buildings each year (flying into windows)
Domestic cats kill between 1.3 and 4 billion birds each year just in the USA, then there's collisions with vehicles, trains, cars
and overhead power lines its a wonder theres any still flying.
Plenty in our garden at least, they've started building in the warm weather, I'm making more nest boxes atm.

Adam Bond, CEO of AFC Energy, speaking from his bedouin tent also commended the decision, adding, “The UK Government’s landmark decision to end fossil fuel subsidies overseas is expected to see a reallocation of billions of pounds into new sustainable technologies in support of the country’s net zero aspirations.”
