You can buy now on Halifax for 3.25p. The technology was tested in the 1980s, so not starting from scratch. What might the company be worth if they can recover over a 100 million barrels of quality oil?
A project potentially worth a few $ billion and 49 million shares in issue. Lets see what happens to the SP. If it works there might be a very nice Xmas present for shareholders. They are certainly in a better position than at any time in the last 5 years.
As I understand it, there are just under 29 million shares in TOM. Chris Brown owns 19.56% of them, approximately 5.65 million. He has recently loaned the company 200,000.00 The value of his shares has risen by over 200,000.00 in the last few days Cant see him wanting to see this fail now.
Look at the big picture here, its a big gamble but just assume they achieve what was presented in yesterdays news. The current SP is rock bottom, the shares have become virtually worthless to most holders, and the project is worth several billion $. Worth a few quid for a gamble, and dont forget the former CEO has loaned 200,000 to the company, so he must see a future.
Assuming this gets funded, it could become very interesting. 1980's technology to be used! 500,000 funding will need some strong persuasion and skilful negotiations, time will tell.
Up around 10% on placement price, it's amazing what enthusiasm can do, and they haven't announced the take up yet to my knowledge. A large dose of enthusiasm from the Sareum directors wouldn't go amiss.
Well Silverfoil you might have invested well, Sierra nicely up from the $2.25 placing, and should reach $3.00 pretty quickly. SAR just needs the next step confirming and a bit of publicity, they are certainly in the best position ever at the moment.
For those rare people who have any patience then this has more potential than ever, keep holding to year end and this could be a top investment, subject to the trials continuing to be be successful. Still risky but worthy of an investment, and difficult to envisage much of a drop in SP from its current price with all the progress. If and when it breaks the 1.00p bid price for a lengthy period the price should rise quickly.
Interesting, this has huge potential to become very interesting. The next few weeks could see a big increase in peoples awareness of SAR, along with a good few new investors.
8 months final commissioning on the Pakistan Kalina Cycle Plant had the alarm bells ringing with me, what has gone wrong? The people who were boasting that they had bought slightly cheaper on the open market rather than through the rights Issue will have learned an expensive lesson
It wasn't a friend, it was a high ranking member of staff.
I was informed a few weeks ago by a high ranking employee at FL Smidth that the Pakistan & UAE plants were running, but due to a change in strategy they are not actively pursuing further Kalina Cycle plants. The outcome will be interesting to see, and for 2101dn with an alleged £29,000 investment it is going to be a long Christmas break. but lets hope for some good news at the start of 2014..
I think FL Smidth have completely lost interest in the Kalina Cycle.
The Rights Issue was always going to be bad but this is a disaster. Looks like John Byrne also failed to take it up as he owns in excess of 10% of the company. A lack of confidence in the company is now a massive problem, they simply haven't completed any projects. We were told 8 months ago that the Pakistan Kalina Cycle Plant was in final stages of commissioning, what has gone wrong? Not looking good.
Good interesting post, well put. I don't think some people are aware that the money paid through the Rights Issue goes directly to Wasabi Energy, while shares bought on the open market doesn't. It would be a great shame having paid for most of the Tuzla project if the last $4 million can't be achieved. How Mr Jones expects the company to succeed when he doesn't want to help, i don't know.
As a relatively new investor in Wasabi Energy, you are typical of what the company now rely upon to take up the offer, anybody new to investing in this company could buy a million shares for just over £2,000.00, take up the offer and own 2 million shares for just over £4,000.00. Assuming they raise enough money and the company continues to trade, your investment will have a fantastic chance of big growth, however if you aren't prepared to pay up, and other new investors have the same attitude then the company can't succeed as they need your money. You either have to be in or out, tough decisions or perhaps you could sell half your holding now, then buy it back through the Rights Issue, you end up with the same holding, similar cost and help the company. Its the long term holders who have been well and truly shafted, and they might just decide enough is enough, as have the likes of Blackrock who clearly new this was coming.
If i am to consider further investment i want to know more about the never ending delays in completion of the 2 new Kalina Cycle Plants. If it is FL Smidth who have to pay upon completion of the Plants, are they delaying completion to delay payment, or don't they work as expected?
The Rights Issue in May resulted in a take up of 33%, difficult to see them achieving that this time. Once again there isn't anything concrete in the prospectus to get excited about, it's no different to 6 months ago, so how can they realistically expect investors to take more pain and the thought of 8 billion shares............ It seemed to be a great opportunity two years ago, risky, but with massive prospects, sadly it might be time to make a dignified exit.
This quite simply can't work as many long term holders have been alienated by the large financial losses and complete lack of achievement by the company. A lot of long term investors and institutional investors like Blackrock have sold out and been replaced by short term gamblers with a few hundred pounds worth of shares who will be selling today. Who is going to double up on the shares they currently own on the wooly and limp information provided?
The $4 million final instalment for the Tuzla project is due to be paid at the end of the month, we should know by this time next week if fundraising has been successful or not.
