Well it is 10 days till GM, I would hope for some positive news to at least give more clarity on our financial position (not pipeline-but actual signed up).

Current sp would not give much confidence to pay 0.0035 in the cash raise (for PI's), needs to be at least 0.0040 for good PI take up, but I assume that the II's will mop up most.
Regarding Costain I just thought as they are owed money and we still want their services it may be prudent to pay them and not incur interest charges.. IMHO

If I have it correct, we own H&W, we have paid off the Vampires (Riverfort) neutralised any options, and paid Constain. so pretty much debt free?

So crux sold into the cash raise also :-) Now we have II's Infa don't need to communicate to their PI's (well so it seems).

I recall somebody saying the £9mill raise was peanuts, but it isn't when it is 80% of your current Market Cap.

It is very frustrating, having a cash raise and cant even give us some numbers as to where we are, but probably due to needing a cash positive balance sheet in order to get any significant contract work IMHO.

Good to see the Belfast dock occupied. Did notice the dredger in their yesterday and by the main dock.... maybe expecting some bigger sea dogs :)

If the other Aircraft carrier "Prince Charles" is still being built, they will have no choice but to build more frigates/Cruisers and destroyers, I do not like France having a greater Naval presence than the UK, and in order to defend our borders as a "stand alone country" it will be imperative. and I am sure the Navy is making that point.

Maybe the raise was something to do with it- was this the £25mill JW was talking about in the rns?

In these tough times, some companies are making a fortune, given the demand for shipyards and the lack of availability I would think margins could be very healthy... AIMHO

agree this is 100% H&W, to be fair any decent company doing due diligence on H&W would say given their financials they are a major risk, This raise will give companies a bit of reassurance that they are not going to fold short term. This could unlock contracts straight away (if it were the only blocker).

You could also look at it another way- The BOD might think the ML not coming so raise now while they CAN raise the cash, Now that would be a logical move IMHO
All scenarios have to be considered.

Goupplease- agree but with another 2.5 bill shares at 0.035 on the way, SP would hardly budge IMHO.

But the II's know month in advance so can sell before taking up the offer....

The issued shares are Pari pasu (exactly the same as me and you)
