City you talk about being educated yet you think Bitso can afford to pay $100m for MOS. They simply do not have that in the bank. Their annual earnings from handing about $5bn is less than $30m a year. They themselves are probably looking to be taken over due to the nature of their last fund raise. MOS is a loss maker so take a few zeros off your price.
Bitso have 7m customers and yet MOS have been spinning the fact that they themselves have a global reach of 800m users for years now. They are trying to pump for sure at the minute.
I think the point is that for too long we do not know what the current loss is running at. What is the cash down to since the last update of £1.3M before the March month end payments and finally when is the forecast turnaround point. Being ahead of forecast is meaningless if a low target was set and is more evidence the BOD likes to spin.
Great response by City as usual. Bitso are going to run this a while to see what their revenue share payments are like first don't you think? MOS may have to up their resource also so it will be an interesting few months ahead. A bit of number reporting would do no harm here to underpin fundamentals as the market is completely in the dark. All they have is historic antics to go on.
Bitso layed off 80 staff in a heart beat last year explaining it as crypto volatility. They have raised money at $2Bn valuation lately but have only raised about $314M over 9 rounds. Thats $35M on average per round. So a big takeover by them is just simple fantasy as they would need to raise for it. How much will they give for a loss making company like MOS and explain to their smart hedge fund backers who love to short the market? Not very difficult research is it but at this stage, $5M would be a lot for their cash and more than generous for MOS by way of realism.
Looks expensive. Hope new deals don't cost much. It's the cash going up yet city / Roley? Or is this critical event "soon, just you wait"
Big party tonight and no doubt deals will be done. We know how mexico operates. See us coming and will take the money up front. Never mind the back scratching hand outs the kind of circles MOS are in tbh.
Who is paying for the light show?
TR1 flying around the world to feel good about the investment??? Strip it back it is a worrying lack of confidence or concern displayed although they will no doubt have convinced themselves all is better than ok. Did you ask if there will be a cash surplus in July Roley or with the events maybe it's coming in the future with all the potential, opportunities like India, Argentina, Brazil, Africa, Netherlands, etc,. After all bitso worth $2bn, maybe that's why we pay them!
LSE board is here to share the research. Give the board facts then city. What's the cash, revenues and losses to date? Deals have been a plenty but a fair few have gone. U turn on allot of them as not fruitful. What makes the latest deals game changers? No info for the market apart from your insider knowledge which you won't tell. The same knowledge you had on the previous sh111te for the last how many years as being spoonfed by the BOD. Careful to all folk following these TR1 as they have got it wrong before. If the company can be transparent and it looks good then so be it but they won't and shy away from reporting numbers.
Roley can you find out for us if MOS think they will be cash flow positive for the month of July and let us know like a good lad? With all the activity touted you would like to hope so but we suspect not. You think cash is close to £1M where my 'consort' group think its closer to £600k and Mr Burton will be itching the purse (above the company target of course and ahead of expectations :-). Update reporting could help us all out and put the market at ease. We might even buy for that matter.
Guzzler the team drops are a lottery if 5-10 people win an experience where thousands buy . There away the ticket as nobody wants them ( the NFT).
if a corporate NFT experience costs £10k, MOS will pay the artist the normal cost of the experience or maybe slightly discounted due to all the up front money or shares they got (still paid btw). Say it's £9.250 that's a profit of £750 or 7.5% before other costs rev shares etc. What turnover is needed to break even doing those high end experiences??? Overheads £3m per annum at 5% net is £60m. Benefit of doubt say blended 15% that's £20m turnover needed to break even I think. The company of course can do more transparency reporting to put us right but rather choose to defer reporting to last minute, tweet like fk in bad jackets, do deals and pay for them on the hope of a run in share price, why? To raise at a higher price that's all.
Faddish concept as the NFTs are for a lottery experience. A fan may buy one or two maybe but then will see the resale value of the NFT fall and begin to question the purchase of another if they do not win the experience. Think it through, its a silly money printing concept that does not last. The only way is to hop from one artist to the next. Can MOS get 100 drops from Mexico for example to try and obtain 5 million revenue over 5 years. Then there is the revenue shares, up front payments and costs. Hopping from one thing to the next though is what MOS like to do though.
After the revenue shares are paid out to the artist and bitso, will the July drops cover our overheads? If you still think we make a loss then we have a problem.
When asked to do research we are asked to 'join the dots' and 'wait and see shall we.' That is trying to look at the deals announced and anticipate the financial impact and growth for the company. The problem is that MOS have had so many deals with RNS flowing wild but a large % of them have fizzled out. The mexico contract did not go well for the world cup and even now it appears they are not doing much for the partnership with MOS and that is in the NFT space! Livescores, Saas rollout, Tappit, Fanzine, Mexico National team quiet for recent games and is IGS now gone? Lets not mention Quanta and the Krunch cash extraction either. Those previous deals also are what research can be done on. Grumpy TR1 signs can be added to research as pointed out by the Guzz.
We are told by the two TR1 to see the big picture. What is it and why can't the company show us the clear plan also? The doctors of spin this BOD are. The market has wisened up to the BOD antics though. Deals and tweets are not going to create any great trading storm it seems so the only thing to do is to wait and see the day they say they are going into profit and cash positivity. As a holder or potential investor, look at their history and ask yourself if they are capable though!
What's the costs of these packages to the MOS ticket master? Beware the sold out ramp especially when they have decided to step back reporting.
No renewal? Oops
When deepverge is sold maybe Nigel Burton can come back on the MOS board again.
Three way revenue share now guzzler. Say it how you see it. How much revenue do they need to stop the loss making? Are the drops coming anywhere close to half this figure yet?
