For the first time in a while some small nibbles this afternoon ??????

Since the anti-inflammatory effect of the nasally administered Foralumab is through the modulation of the immune system and not by directly targeting Covid-19, this therapeutic approach could be useful for newly identified Covid-19 variants in the UK, South Africa and Brazil.
· Foralumab is the first monoclonal antibody that can be dosed nasally or orally, due to its ability to effect systemic immunity via the epithelial lining of the nose, respiratory tract and gut.
· The direct rapid delivery of Foralumab to the nasal passage and respiratory tract was shown in a previous study of mild to moderate Covid-19 patients to suppress lung inflammation, as evident from CT scans and reduced systemic markers of inflammation including interleukin-6 and C-reactive protein.

Good thing will come to those who are patient.

Nasal anti-CD3 is an exciting, novel approach that has the ability to provide a safe treatment for a form of MS that has no effective treatment. We are pleased that the FDA has allowed us to treat a patient with SPMS who needs a better treatment option than is currently available."

The company had previously reported positive data from the Clinical Study of Nasal Administration with Foralumab in COVID-19 patients in Brazil. Nasally administered Foralumab at 100 mg/day for consecutive 10 days treatment was found to be well-tolerated, and there were no apparent severe adverse events. The clinical data suggested that the treatment provided significant reduction of lung inflammation.

Just catching up and see Oak has been defending my honour. Thanks Oak, but not required, I just ignore and filter idiots.

Anyone who knows anything about antivirals understands the complications of taking a 'pill' as a panacea and all will be OK. Unfortunately, the body does not work in simple terms and a pill simply does not cut it. ADME (adsorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion) gets in the way of simplicity. SSH knows this fact, and I'm certain the new Governmental body in charge of antivirals will know this.
Nothing has changed from a scientific stance. All fantastic and RM, SH and the squad are working fantastically behind the scenes. Short form ACE publication from SU was the icing on the cake for me. Trials all moving along nicely. ACTIV-2 STILL the critical one in my view and HT readout will be very useful to the FDA in reviewing and decision making. My gut says 80% positive of FDA offering EUA on P2 before rolling into P3.
Very rich 2 month channel ahead of news for Synners. The anticipation is almost mouth-watering.

We have never done 'the easy way'. It's not our style. If there is a difficult route to circumvent to the top of Everest, you can be certain our SP will take it. BUT I will say again.

I have to agree. It does appear that the MMs are artificially holding the SP in check at the moment. Could be a potential breakout very soon. Enjoy the rollercoaster all. I will be here for the long haul :-)
