RE: A message from Paul Emmitt CEO of #PHE1 Nov 2024 16:26
This was recently published in the PowerHouseEnergy Groups Telegram.
All,
Thanks for the continued support.
I can assure you that we are on top of the Hydrogen strategy for Wales, Engsolve was, in fact, one involved in the setup of HyCymru. We knew this was coming and that is why I chose Bridgend (rather than Cardiff) for the FTU. We are following up all avenues with both the Welsh government and Bridgend council, as well as staying on the right side of NRW.
All potential stakeholders are keen to visit the site as well as Jacob Hayler from the ECA (whom you all heard on Radio 2 and I spoke to last week).
Whilst I stay quiet I can assure you wheels are turning in the background.
The FTU is on schedule and I am in the process of setting up investor, shareholder and potential client days for the new year with our IR agent.
I will announce when the FTU is complete, and provide some photos and videos!
As for a question asked a few days ago. The unit will need to be βrun inβ which will need a number of heat/cool cycles, each process unit will require proof of operation but then we will be able to run live testing. This will firstly be with clean native plastic to validate that we get the same results that we saw both in the demo unit and in our prediction model. We will then validate on waste that we have tested previously again to validate the output syngas content. After this is complete we will be able to test client material and look to run 24hr then 72hr testing.
Note that, we only need the first native test to be successful to open the site to visitors, as that will prove it works as we say it will.
While Iβm here, just because it was mentioned I am also looking at opportunities in the Saudi market.
Many thanks all, and hang in there!
Paul
