Also beeb. You were a little selective in the bits you missed out of your dictionary definition of "charade/s"and only quoted the meaning of the word used in plural. According to Collins, when used in the singular it means,
"If you describe someone's actions as a charade, you mean that their actions are so obviously false that they do not convince anyone." Or from dictionary.com, "a blatant pretense or deception, especially something so full of pretense as to be a travesty". Mmmmm. Sounds like your definition was a bit of a "charade". ;) Joker.
Don't mention it. Been kicking myself looking at that tweet a second time. Should have guessed by the jaunty angle of some of those safety helmets, that those could never have been boring old auditors and were in hindsight, obviously thespians, there for the game.
Sorry again. A scam and a charade are completely different.
Sorry 28th of November..... yes I know pretty poor form for somebody claiming.....etc etc.
In other news that old completely irrelevant POG seems to be perking up again.
Beebs. On 18 December at 08h37 you called it, "All a charade". Please forgive my my over-reach on the synonym. Once again I have been shamed in the shadow of your superior legal bigdickery.
You claiming the whole thing's a scam must be getting harder now beebs. I suppose you'll be claiming they've managed to get a large international auditing firm to come to pose for photos as part of their elaborate evil scheme to penny hustle.
I bought back in at 3pm. Sorry everybody. That's on me.
Nope. I reported the post. Libelous af. And completely unsupported by fact or even allegation. Poor sod sold at the bottom and no doubt will troll here endlessly as a result.
Yep. The best scenario for business (and citizens) looks likely. That is the ANC win with the EFF again being shown up as being a lot louder in media than real life. But the ANC ideally again lose a chunk of their majority. The result hopefully then is the political and policy stability of an ANC win, but with an air of vunerability, so that they put fresh energy into their renewal and ideology refresh and with better air of cooperation in those places that they lose regional ballots. FWIW, anecdotally, most South Africans I chat with are pretty optimistic on the direction of travel.
Eish, that whole make them ungovernable thing, was a time and a place (in my opinion) that I dont think can be easily repeated, if (and a big if) the ANC cant keep power. In the past, a relatively cohesive ANC pulling together and making life difficult for the places that beat them, usually with small majorities or coalitions was only just possible. So, for example, underfunding the national services (particularly the police) in the Western Cape (and elsewhere) and pushing the youth league to rabble rouse in still strongly ANC townships, was doable. But even guerilla politics takes a level of cohesiveness and funding that if the ANC can't manage a broad win, they simply won't have in the areas they lose. If the ANC lose, it will be a mixed bag, depending on the local individuals and coalitions, held together by the courts.
All in all, despite some political uncertainty and chaos, in places, it is a healthier democracy than crooks ruling with impunity and never a fear of losing a vote. To get the increasingly important disinterested youth vote, politicians are going to have to start delivering. The kids don't have their parents and grandparents blind political loyalty and aren't interested in identity politics.
Yep. I think "reassuring" is a great description on the production, itself. Throw in the current POG treand and we're entering "pleasing" territory.
Yep. That .... and the actual product we produce and try sell for a profit. But why concern yourself with the fundamentals.
Ah yes. Of course. With POG at 2k plus, you'd think Robbie's cap will be very much on his head.
In fairness. JC, Watcher, the cynical conspiracy theorist (see what I did there) is right. They do indeed need more money and they are indeed working on getting the accounts out ASAP.

My bad. Please everybody, do not mistake my earlier statement that we must all asses our own risk appetite and not treat investing as a competive sport, as financial advice. It was just an unqualified, personal opinion. If this share makes you feel trapped, please contact a qualified proffessional (in finance and /or mental health) and seek appropriate advice.
In fact, as a general rule, please never treat an opinion of a stranger on the internet, named after a fictitious beast, as financial advice. Please note that this statement too, is not financial advice.
Please note that my calling the 'Swampmonster' a fictitious beast might also not be accurate. I am not qualified to know whether such a beast has ever actually been penned. Unfortunately, 'Swamp Thing' (credit to the creators, Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson) didnt work.

We see it just fine, Beebs. We just choose not to turn our frustrations into a never ending competitive debate with fellow shareholders. We recognise the problems. And then, like adults we try to also recognise the opportunities and weigh up the risk/reward dynamics to make a decision for our particular risk appetite. Only being willing to see negatives, is as problematic for an investor as only seeing positives. As too, is assuming that we all have the same objectives and risk appetites as each other. If this share makes you feel trapped, its probably time to think about selling.
You've been "letting on" non stop for a year. ;]
I suspect that there is a chicken/egg problem there. A full team costs money. To get money, we need our finance package. But to get our finance package, we need a ton of work done by a finance team. Hence the accounts being pushed back on the priority list, in favour of the work towards the finance. That's not to say Im happy about it. Im not. But I do understand it.
Ha. I asked for that.
Not sure what that means? But I recall a similar flurry of conspiracy theories last time too.
