Eric...I was in Truro museum last summer ( '19) and there's plenty of evidence that the Phoenicians traded with the Cornish for tin and they did it from St Michael's Mount...and did those feet in ancient time?

I read once in an American article that there was Cornish tin in the ruins of the Temple in Jerusalem. How fascinating is that, don't know if it's true or not. I doubt there's any Swedish iron in the average cruise ship.

FarEnd...That's a surprise, I didn't expect philosophy. I don't need them for survival but I do need them to keep my percentage up and I haven't used my ISA this year because I've been waiting for an opportunity. But wanting things isn't bad, surely it's part of being a human being; on, on, on wanting things...where would we be if we didn't want things. I don't want a cruise on an ocean going liner, perish the thought; I'm only interested in gardening and I get fed up with that sometimes. Want also means lack of which makes it the same as need and if you think desire is the source of all pain (and it has it's proponents) why are you buying shares in banks and ships. How are my wants worse then yours? Cruise ships are bad for the environment, they pander to people wanting to be somewhere else for no good reason ...whereas iron is a very useful commodity.

Hello again...can't say that I do understand it..it says in the Prospectus that the of the results of the SDR Issue would be announced today, latest date for payment without preferential rights 11 Dec...but if it was oversubscribed there wouldn't be any would there. And it's underwritten up to 80% by the Guarantor, so what does 'up to' mean?

Well, that's good news for the Company. But it probably means I'll have to amend my order for Extras and opt for Plan B, cancel the Extras and apply for my certificate Options.

I've just taken the plunge and subscribed for all my Options in my ISA and Extra to cover my certificates, in the hope I'll get all of them in my ISA and save myself the brokerage of transferring them. An interesting fact is that you can edit the application up to the closing date.
