Quantum Blockchain Technologies Shares Rise After Bitcoin Mining Test Success

Shares in Quantum Blockchain Technologies rose 12% on Wednesday after the company said that it has seen significant improvements in its bitcoin mining success rate and energy use after making advances in its software.

The company said testing of its proprietary bitcoin mining search algorithm has shown a theoretical improvement of 2.6 times compared with standard bitcoin mining industry practices.

Shares at 0723 GMT were up 0.18 pence at 1.65 pence.

Thegodsbewithme- yes they don't want to let it run, but i think they may have no choice soon. That 260% increase is crazy and is nearly 9X faster than the 30% increase first touted. Industrial commercialization is very exciting.

Bobcat- agreed, this needs good PR and a good interview which i think he will do.

I think there were a few traders who bought in around1.65p/ 1.7p mark , but it did not go back up past this and instead went down , which locked them in the trade and then stayed there. It will be interesting to see how long the mm's will hold it in this price range which seems to be between 1.4 and 1.6p.

Eddie - agreed , however the movement in the share price is a lot less volatile than it used to be. It has been a few weeks now.

It looks like the mm's have put a stop to all trading and are just holding the share price in this range now. Looks like they read the board lol. They have also shafted all investors by keeping it so low.
