She's playing like a violin
Taff, eh the last interim accounts show an operating loss. RNS 29 Sep 2017 OPERATING LOSS (368) So now your turn, please starting with that operating loss, show how Egypt can be making a profit. ( presumably you are also arguing that Pine Mills is profitable so your calculation will be fun to see)
Has Rosolanor posted another chart. I've not looked at it but let me guess, does it go up ? Here are some of his previous chart predictions: Rosolanor , 12 Apr, "Targets from 9.20p - 11.20p " Rosolanor ,19 Jan, "next few sessions 6p next target" Here was my prediction Surely, 20 Apr '18, "don't worry , I'm sure he (rosolanor) will post another asap, that's what the TA's do, one of them will be right one day." I would like to make another prediction. I bet that Rosalanor is not a millionaire.
Orangutan, I thoroughly deserved that reply from yourself. Well done. I've ticked you up. And yes "time will tell if Sou comes good" ( it won't, but if it does please come back and rub it in )
Taff, try to keep the posts on the topic of NTog, and try not to get personal. That is breaking board rules. I would suggest regarding the arbitration investors should factor in losing the case. And if Ntog lose the case they will effectively have a loss making asset. What will they do with that. What will be the strategy if they lose the case.
" Egypt is going to be a bonus a number of months down the line " taff, There seems to be an assumption here that arbitration will work in Ntog's favour. Remember the big problem here is that Ntog are not the operator. It is therefore up to Ntog to prove the case I would think. Which will be a tougher job that posters are giving credit for. I've seen a couple of court cases involving Aim companies. Lgo springs to mind. The rampers there at the time, completely dismissed the other sides chances, then lost the case. Just saying. In the meantime, Egypt is loss making for Ntog I would guess.
James, never said his "plight is funny", dont know where you get that from, and would not wish him to lose money. I do stick by "enthusiastic amateur" as a type of bb poster though. But if that is your standard for being uncivil I really would stop reading these boards, you will have a heart attack at what some other people post :-) Anyway getting a bit pointless now.
James, I dont think this is a question of gloating. These are just observations on how the bulletin boards work , particularly for oilers, and very useful to be aware of. Ricfle is just observing what we all know. Ramping and echo chambers equal to confirmation bias, and " locked in" equal to "loss aversion". I would also highlight another effect you see, the "above average effect" where inexperienced investors overestimate their competence in assessing Oil resources, particularly CoS. And nowhere did you see this more than UKOG when it was in full flow. The evidence of emeritus professors and previous assesments by BP etc were simply dismissed by the rampers , new technology had changed the game (it hadn't) and the Weald was a Gusher (it isn't) Perhaps the "above average effect" in Orangutan optimism for example about Sound for example when he posted here. Just saying. Food for thought. I couldn't care less what he posted here btw , and in fact would be happy to hear from him again and tell me I have got it wrong.
Agree with Ricfle totally on Sound. It was always going to be a slow moving car crash. Looking at their last accounts, 21 million cash for a 500 million company, and now a CPR with a 25% COS. So reading Orangutan27 comments on Sound again they are quite funny. Enthusiastic amateur.
Trades munching away at the bid all day. If an increasing Oil price can't take this up even a few per cent then the signals are bad. Munch, munch, munch, wont take too much more of that either.
"Next week it will fall back to 145 " Bash, it might well do that, but the difference this time is it will probably bounce like a rubber ball off this level, given the bullish patterns that we saw as it broke out. so i'm hoping it does get there for a last mega top up at 145 for me.
Volumes have been dire for RRL despite a vastly increased Oil Price.
