What are the key power people up to these days. Gary higham has delivered very little in the UK. They had a few decent orders in the bus and coach market late 2016 early 2017 but nothing since that. The sales guy they had from a competitor then left and we have seen nothing on a bus and coach front. What made him leave I wonder. There are a number of people in Israel one called Brett who I understand left the company and rejoined exactly what he does in sales is beyond me. They have varioys other people employed in sales roles from israel as well. The UK has Seven staff who I presume must be sat playing cards all day.
You must work for the company that bought the 5 recorders last year lol
Nothing moving here. More trials ongoing how often have we heard them mention trials. Wish we could sell 50 systems to everyone we have done a trial with. Only 2 customers mentioned cardtronics and aggregate ind. What the hell are they doing in Israel, UK, and US. No sign of progress in the UK bus and coach market. Think sone people need the boot.
All this is good however it seems we have been all over the world in the past 12 months - Uk, Japan, Israel, Mexico, America, Russia it is now time we had a tasty contract or 2 rather than air miles
It would be nice to know how many systems we have in the field that we have integrated the mobile system with.
Nothing you are saying makes sense nite nite time for you to sober up
You got bad eyes Bjorn or have you had a few too many shandys 2016 as stated earlier
If what I said is crap you would have taken great delight in proving me wrong I would have thought. If someone is buying large amounts of units I would have thought it would have been announced. If they are great news for us all so win win.
2016. I can answer questions on the things I put all day long as I do not make it up as I go along. In the past Cyberline held contracts with first bus, go ahead and some major london operators.
What do you think. The prospect of making money
Ni idea what you mean by your last comment. Your info on 21st is so wrong as they have fitted a number of live systems in the past 12 months
Well my mate has just left his large whiskey and pulled himself out of his comfy seat. And provided me with the info. Going back a few years one of the major players in bus and coach cctv was a company called cyberline communications they supplied security plus a cit company. Cyberline ceased trading however before this 21st century invested in Cyberline the suspicion was that many customers moved over to 21st century.
Bjorn i have nothing to get out of. I am certain they have done work for a cit company but I can't find the evidence at the moment and I am unsure if they still supply them . Gatwick is all about them supplying live systems. In all honesty I think the focus on this board should be on SEV. My prevous posts have been aimed at what Sev should be aware of and what we are up against. I will leave you bjorn to have a day on google.
Bjorn the friend I have was simply giving me his opinion as he has a good knowledge of the coach and bus market. I will let you do your own homework on 21st century but last year they fitted a number of live view systems to a bus company that operates around Gatwick airport. Vision do CIT for royal mail amongst others VUE market to the CIT business as do Synectics . If you have done your homework you would also know that the top 2 suppliers for cctv to bus and coach are 21st century and Synectics and both can offer live view systems exactly how they compare to Sev I do not know.
He would not post on here he was just doing me a favour by having a look for me as he was there with a seating company he has interests with. He was only looking at what was on offer aimed at the bus and coach market. However Bjorn you are totally wrong about cash in transit companies as the following companies all provide systems to the cash in transit market - Vision techniques, 21st century, Synectics, VUE and these are just the ones I know of. I fully understand what Sev can offer and I am confident that it can do what it says however we need firm orders to be able to pick up our pace
Just one interesting comment from my friend who attended the show was that other established companies could offer the same type of tech that Sev have and many companies had stands offering this. I just worry that 2 years ago we was probably very advanced but in the current day many people have caught up and advanced.
Sounds good but for us to see any good movement we need to see some major contracts won especially with our tech and Mobileye tech used together. A friend of mine attended the bus and coach show yesterday as he has other interests there although he never spoke to anyone from Servision he did say they have some major competition in the industry. He said it looked as though sev had a few members of staff on the stand not sure if they was all from the UK office though. The stand was fairly small compared to the competition however I do not take that as a negative point as these type of shows can often be a good way to burn money and it is often a case of having a presence there rather than the size of your stand.
The ser vision sales force. From what I can tell Mobileye just have one guy in the UK. Thanks Bjorn
What is the size of Servision uk sales force. After looking at Mobileye it appears they only have one guy based in the UK.
I think there is a good potential with cardtronics if they have machines across Europe then surely we can also get in there for the vans as well as the cash machines. A further update on this would be good to know about at the moment it is like a dangling carrot. I always felt uk bus and coach was a major opportunity so I am a little disappointed to only have added one customer on that side and that is a small operator Cumfy bus. I don't even think they have the bus and coach person in the UK that they used to have according to Linkin unless they have added new staff we do not know about.
