I am letting the deal play out. This will give me Avivia shares plus the cash. I will then use the cash to buy more Aviva shares

The DLG is now linked to Aviva to it is whatever they do will drive the price. If you are happy to take Aviva shares then just let it play out

You will only know on the 3rd how many Aviva shares you can buy with the cash

The 275p price is not really relevant anymore as more than 50% of that is linked to Aviva.

The DLG SP is now (post dividend) directly linked to Aviva SP as the deal is 99.99% done

It is impossible to know the Aviva price on the 3rd July (the day you will get the shares). However due to the performance it has driven DLG SP to 3.06 well above the 2.75 offer. That has been driven by Aviva.

You can work out the shares in Aviva by times your DLG holdings by 0.2867. This gives you the amount of Aviva shares and then you can take the price to work out total value. You need to remember the cash element to get back to 3.06.

I am going to use the cash and invest into Aviva. I believe there is huge amount of value over the long term.

Aviva share price has been on a great run. I used my Hargreaves proceeds and ISA allowance this year and up 18%

The DLG takeover value is now looking above 300p

I will definitely be holding AV post takeover.

What are the thoughts of the demerger?

I am still holding TGA shares, but very little value and not sure I can be bother to sell

I will be using the cash to buy more AVIVA

I guess is you sell and buy early you would benefit from the Aviva dividend as well.

Based on charges / stamp I will wait. Might risk a bit of upside but will protect on the downside

Once the dividend is paid. Is there any advantages to hold DLG until the sale if you are happy to buy Aviva? I guess trading costs / stamp fees would be payable for sale / buy.

Can't see anything too positive from them and expect c5% drop
