The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
First of the positive RNS's :-)
So am I after a couple of spiced rums and a G+T, a Whiskey Mac followed by a Vodka + Lemoncello over ice, she's not happy but I'm a happy chappy and they aren't meant to be ornaments till next Christmas, RNS tomorrow 10:15 :-) unless they've followed my example.
Totally in agreement Phil, as I said he'll have little if any effect once below 3% which shouldn't be long :-) and hopefully before a stonking RNS.
At this rate he'll be irrelevant, in 3-4 months.
has been selling again I see, anoyher !% or thereabouts, bit of a fufu when the RNS is issued after market 5:15 yesterday which of course doesn't show up unless you look.
Damn, too short a period before realism strikes, here we go, back up before I've managed to accumulate more at these or rather those prices. Bring the fear back for a couple more sessions please :-)
S'cuse me but aren't you on the wrong board?
We all get it wrong sometimes Porky :-) even the big fish.
Who's to say SO hasn't been buying back having sold mid 50's to mid 70's to mid 80's? It's easy for him to manipulate at the moment but irrelevant long term, we may get one more RNS regarding a reduction in % holdings but I believe he will be loading up again at this sp. The fella is shrewd, especially regarding releasing holdings timelines.
As I carry on accumulating at anything below 55p which I never expected to, i become wealthier before my 65th birthday in 18 months time, having bought at 36p initially and subsequent buys up to £1.42 I am left with a current average of 67p and will be adding substantially before end of month. Facts are King in Pharma and the facts we have are spectacular in the real investment world, we've had nothing but positive news for 2yrs and I fully expect that to conyinue. You have to expect as a serious investor some delays, and the exterior environments that cause delays are by their very nature unpredictable and unforeseable. But the FACT is the concept of the science and results are undeniable and will come to fruition,. I have no problem with and can understand why people are selling, but in my view they aren't selling for the right reasons, they are selling at a loss and usually a lack of patience, they want to make their money generate a return as we all do, but jumping around from share to share indicates a lack of research and consequently belief. Having experienced the "Oh crap I should have stuck with it" for a little longer result, (which is bloody awful) and miss out on the multibagger by 4-6-10 weeks. This one won't elude me from a simple lack of patience. The science is being proven in every RNS to date.
Personally I feel the importance of Olly selling is being overtstated and given too much importance, the sp will recover again and any disruption becomes lessened every time he sells say 1% as of course the holding is being reduced, which in turn means that 1% of his holding is a smaller number of shares each time. He doesn't want to tank the share price for obvious reasons and it must be remembered that these shares have already found new hands.
Only one answer to that. which I posted months ago, would you honestly chuck £750K at a binary bet, or as the Chief Scientific Officer a considered investment? unless you were insane or wanted to dispose of 3/4 of a million pounds for some reason, "a very expensive divorce or whatever" then this is truly a fantatic investment. Forget Duncan, as CEO he relies on the people reporting to him, personally speaking I believe he should NOT be doing ANY public relations, it's like watching paint drying in slow motion, No Charisma, No enthusiasm, No interest in communicting to the public. All in all I'm sure he's competent in the original role, but that role has expanded to include enthusiastic "joe bloggs " communication and I'm damn sure he should be passing that necissary element of growth on to someone more capable, he is currently a weak cog and recognise that.
Take a look ai the RNS's ya lazy fook, funded till Q3 next year.
for jumping into a share without research, but after catching up on a year of RNS's for this company in about 1 hr this morning I ploughed in at 24p. only £6K but all I had spare, how this passed under my radar I don't know but happy to be in at what I consider to be a silly sp given current assets :-)
Thanks for the clarification Sang and Hope, it's been some time since I bothered looking into it and only reinforces my view of the opportunity here. The recent ongoing silly sp has enabled me to nearly double my original holdings which I wouldn't have thought possible last year, every cloud etc. :-)
People speculating about a buyout are missing the fact that there is already an arrangement for a "milestone" payment to be paid by Merck of over £360,000,000, when the milestone is triggered and by what we don't know but I'd speculate that it's based around the oncology results and isn't far off, so if there is any buyout it would be with certainty about a product hence the milestone payout and well over £6 in my opinion, more likely over £10 if it's regarding the oncology patents.
glass half full posters today for me, I'm just going to monitor the sp reaction rather than engage with people who supposedly hold shares but are so disingenuous about such a significant RNS.
