IG is renowned for "loaning" shares and advises how to short if you're into that kind of thing, not really my kind of broker platform and relatively young to the market, hence the limitations on your limit.
It's visible but is disregarded as is anything above 50% of current share price therefore doesn't affect the ask. Much the same as setting your sell limit at say 50% of current price to mitigate losses has no affect on bid on any share. They just become "unavailable".
By my reckoning that's around 1.6 million shares less that have become unavailable that I know of for the shorters to play with in just two days, ( I have a few mates invested in 4D who placed limit sells on Friday) at that kind of pace we could be rid of them this week. get on the case it costs nothing. it's a part of investing that allows us to defend against the shorts.
I'll keep banging my drum.....just put a limit sell on your 4D shares of say £5-10 it takes 30 seconds and see how quickly those shorts dry up. If you can't borrow them you can't short them, it's that simple.
Mumbo, just go away and get a life, perhaps find a friend, or get a dog.
nobody, and I do mean NOBODY puts £700,000 at £1:10 a share on a binary bet, unless they're absolutely barking or absolutely certain of the outcome, with IQ's well above 130+ two directors have committed, one the CEO the other being the CSO who is up to date on a daily basis in his role as chief scientific officer. Given that all companies are subject to "closed" periods when directors cannot buy for one reason or another it seems to me that it's reasonable to assume they know the likely/definite outcome already but of course can't 3-6 months after purchasing then announce a KABOOM. So it was April when they purchased, mid phase 1 and 2 for a number of projects, I'm expecting something huge before the 10 month anniversary of those purchases.
Nah, Buffet is ready, self service.
I will continue to buy all the way back up to £2. and fully expect to make a considerable amount for my patience with, and belief in the people who founded the company and the science they are proving to be not only effective but above all safe. How many people dissed CBD?? Now accepted within this year as if it's always been there for treatment of numerous conditions.....
Yep it is and I have again at 12p under my average so very happy chappy, this will come good sooner rather than later in my opinion, the wording of the RNS definitely communicated to me that a positive inflection point was to be expected and was relatively imminent. For all the stressed out there......... Slowly breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth aaaand relax :-)
That'll do for now.
considering we are only five days into autumn which has a duration of 92 days this year I'd be caqlling the whole of Ociober "early autumn" the rest being mid and late. Can't do anything about the qdefinately bit.
showing as after hours, well over £225k, interesting.
Imriegr, honestly? I might have to apologise to Sang R.E. "investors" after that one. Or is this a wind up ??
Sang I'm not sure if you are misreading what I said, being patronising or just plain combative, what I'm saying is they should just start with a short statement saying it's all good basically, having to drill down through all the technical data each time is ridiculous. As for whether people should be investing if they aren't prepared to understand the science is quite a statement given that is a new science. Do I understand the process of extracting gold? To a degree yes, but that hasn't prevented me from investing in gold exploration and processing the same goes for new energy technology etc. I understand enough to remain here but the fact is if 4D had been "clearer" with their communication the sp wouldn't be where it is now.
I agree Phil, but they could also make the reading of the RNS alot clearer to us mere laymen, perhaps if they started by stating they had seen positive results in the phase 1 or 2 etc and were progressing to etc. Then go on to give all the technical guff. But no, we just get all the guff and have to sort through it to pick out the the pertinent bits. The Nomad could do with a kick up the Jacksy for not pointing this out to the eggheads.
all, been quite a week for us poor pi's but at least we know now for certain why the sp keep-s being depressed and let's face it none of us would want to be in Mr Olives shoes, just a matter of scale, and not pleasant on any scale for us mortals with limited resource.
Not far out, in % terms , 25%, probably less than the rise we'll get on the open with the right RNS, looking forward to the next 3=4 years in this share. You never know it may be Monday!!
If we don't get a RNS it's no big deal we'll still be singing HAPPY Birthday Sang, out of curiosity what age will you be? You can of course tell me it's none of my business but for fun I'm going to have the first guess at 37 :-)
