Keep asking myself this too. I am confident GGP get great value for money on drill campaigns but it is likely to be a placing before drill season.

Lower than expected grades, lack of understanding, MM opportunity to exacerbate situation, mantra to sell on news, mention of further drilling (that costs) and most importantly i think investors are expecting some form deal. It doesn't matter what we find if no-one wants to dig it up.

I am a PI and i will hold as i think this share will come good. The minerals are there, adjacent activity is taking place, interest is building

The trouble is if a major so much as sniffs around for a JV they would be paying substantialy more later. Whats their risk appetite? Genuinely dont know.

Certainly more money over the long term if GH plays the long game but would he really say no to an offer of 30p p/s or so... (just a figure of the top of my head). A figure in the temptation range, far higher than our present value, not unheard of in past TOs

Could be a conditional offer based on further drilling assessments. Absolutely agree on GGP being in the 'could be' catagorry still

Which is why i think there will be an offer for GGP at some point. Why would you pay premium for the sites/land GGP own when you could get the company for less.

A quiet GH is a good thing. Much better in the last 6 months at managing expectations. This will add to GH and GGP credibility imho

With other companies RNSs complimenting GGP results in such a way i cant see us not being in discussions with majors. All about deal making now

Has there been any RNSs from RIO regarding their activity? They seem to have plenty to get on with before paying a premium for Havieron and the likes.

I bet this Newmont merger paid a part for pulling out a year ago. Would be the best explanation to date
