I think we ill gain 6-8 % tomorrow and next week , with UK/US travel re-opening we will get over £1.90. that is my opinion , of course. Close higher than £1.71 today. GLA.

REVENUE FORECAST: Analyst consensus for third-quarter revenue stands at 2.76 billion euros ($3.20 billion), taken from FactSet and based on 13 analysts' forecasts. IAG reported revenue of EUR1.2 billion for the third quarter of 2020.

ADJUSTED OPERATING PROFIT: Citi forecasts a narrowed adjusted loss before interest and taxes--a metric that strips out exceptional and other one-off items--of EUR307 million for the third quarter, compared with an adjusted EBIT loss of EUR1.3 billion the year before.

WHAT TO WATCH:

-TRANSATLANTIC BOOKINGS: After German carrier Deutsche Lufthansa AG posted a surprise return to profitability as the return of transatlantic travel prompted a surge in bookings, IAG might also surprise in that respect, Michael Hewson of CMC Markets UK said.

-COSTS: Analysts at Credit Suisse say IAG has a strong track record of managing inflationary pressure and has reduced infrastructure cost intensity--as a percentage of revenue--despite suffering the strongest headwinds.

-CORPORATE TRAFFIC: Although IAG's corporate traffic/balance sheet concerns persist, they do so at a third of its prepandemic market cap. "The start of a Transatlantic market recovery may start to boost confidence that prior margin management success can be repeated," Credit Suisse says".
