The longer Lloyds Banking Group sit on our dividend money , we will just carry on been a trader's share sadly.

All we can do is sit tight for now,. turn off the PC and enjoy the Christmas.

My Lloyd's shares are part of my retirement pot , along side my other company pension I hold , but I don't check on these on daily basis on its value.

So Roll on 2022 I say and hopefully our new CEO Charlie Brown ''WILL DO THE RIGHT THING'' and return some of the shareholders withheld Dividends that's been held back over the the 27 months .

Anyway the 7p capital excess on the Balance Sheet is the withheld Dividend money from the final 2018/2019: 2.25p and have
Paid a measly 1p Dividend in 2 years now.

Really hoping for A dividend bonanza over the next 2 years here ;-)

I am 53 and if don't see my capital short term and I can live until 73 and Lloyd's Banking Group pays me a 3p annual dividend for the next 20 years

I'll get my original capital back anyway

Lloyd's Banking Group is a UK entity and makes 90 % of its profits iwithin the UK but the share has dropped a bigger percentage than most overseas earning companies.

Hence the share price will bounce back next week .... No reason for this big drop here-)

I just find it fascinating to be honest.

Might even top up when New York opens this afternoon.

50p is just another number here ( a stepping stone )

They did say they was going to rise rates in November

Totally agree share prices do move up or down ..... its called a market

Little bit confused why after 5 years your choose to be back in cash, we are only 3 months away from the Lloyd's Banking Groups Finals ( February 2022 ) good possibility of a pay back programme announcement. also we are about to hit Santa's rally add a very possible interest rate rise in January .

Personally, I going to wait few months into 2022 before any choices to cut the cloth here.

Blimey a Annual Lloyds Divi of 3p works out around £18,000k income for me in 2022 and that's just from my Lloyds holding
