1863 was so busy raging and swearing about a Guardian's article with no malice at all that he did not know what he/she was writing, like when on the 26 of July he bought AFC on the back of good news and 2 days later he/she says has been out of AFC for ages... I agree both AFC and CERES are well position to take advantage of the green revolution, so why swear and talk bull s***

Complete & utter hogwash. There aren't 20 million people in Brighton. I was invested in AFC years ago then switched to Ceres when it dropped to £3 (from £13).

1863,i have no idea what article you been reading and were it says Brighton.... but most of all i do not give a toss about you telling me about your investment strategy, i will stick with AFC.... it was an article on today's Guardian and for sure did not come with financial advice like you seem to be dishing out like you are the investment oracle....slow down, chill out, the shorter crew will be back in business tomorrow...

My question is, we are expecting some very good bits of news coming out of AFC in the next few months, so if the sp shots up suddenly i suppose they will be loosing lots of money trying to keep the sp down till the 30 of September ...

Stockcheque sure, a short bought stock we agree has to be sold at a lower price to make a profit... there were rumours on various chat rooms that helicon had inside informations regarding AFC but being caught with their pants down like on Friday proofs that do not, AB is keeping everything well close to his chest..... Friday's news was mega BIG but in my very own opinion the certification of the 200 KWH units will be even bigger event....👍😊

JeffMills, just to add to my last post, when one shorts a stock one has to pay a % in fees to the broker which in turn makes some money on stock it does not own... it's a con but within the rules...

Jeffmills, in partly i agree with you, i understand there is no time limit on how long a short can be held but the stock bought on short has to be sold below the short price to make a profit, hedging by buying stock when is cheap is a very fine line because you are fuelling the sp to go higher.... Last but not least you must trust your broker not to be needing back the stock you borrowed.... My opinion of course

One of those nasty surprises could very well be the certification of the 200 KWH units, which is very much in the air..... 👍

Helikon was formed in Q4 2019,not much sense of investing by the look of things, chancers at best, and AB might still have more nasty surprises in store for them.....👍 I think to draw helikon in nearer the half year report was not casual but a way by AB to tell them, yous better know who you are messing with, short at your own peril .... my very personal opinion of course..

I wrote an e-mail to the address were i applied to rejoin the new group after it moved and i gave my driving licence as proof so to make my point and did the same to your messanger account... anyway is water under the bridge now all that matters is that AFC having build solid foundations with this new deal can finally show how good a company it is...
