Guys can someone explain why , when there have evidently been more buyers than sellers of the banks today , when ou look at value of bought and sold in the LSE Share details fro LLOY on this site , it consisitently says a greater volume of sellers than buyers ? Is that the market maker as seller or the customer as seller ?With the small caps its correct - more buyers means the price goes up and it does . So for today in LLOY we have sold value £59m and bought value £19m -so why has the price gone up 8% if this is the case ? These figures cannot be right as they constanty have a greater number of sells than buys but shares still go up ? So how does this work?
