Got at 1.16 so not just yet :) Besides im a long term holder here, next two years min, I've ridden newmount disaster and averaged down on the way, still sitting in a small amount of profit, but even by the end of this year I do expect that will be double at least. Aim shares always drift without expected news, and really if you believe in the company, those are your buying opportunities, when everyone is screaming for news, hold long enough on a share like this and you will have many exit points plus the possibility of either a free ride (which is best for a risky stock like this) or even life changing profit, if you hold strong and we really do get out JV/Spinoff or buyout.

I'm not interested in speculation as that's not a true reflection here. When we had newmount we wernt fully funded to anywhere near this level, we didn't have BH we didn't have bonanza grade gold discovery at HAV, we didn't have jack other than newmount taking a look at one of our projects. We now have their DSG, we have drilled 30 holes plus Carnegie, we have lots of cash to push on with various options. its a totally different company, our resources are far further down the value chain than they were when newmount asked to have a look with their tech. Finding gold is the hard part and proving up the resource, there remains newmount who we now have a relationship with, plus all the other majors and all the increased activity in the area. You sound like someone who got burnt by newmount and are just bitter. Id prefer we spent the next 18 months proving up our assest and furthering them down the value chain than some speculative interest from a major on one licence. If the gold is there, we will have many many options, you cant unfind it.

Agreed Fun, but really our value is in buyout of JV so not surprised people are talking about it after the newcrest article and the resent goings on in AUs mining. Totally agree its too early, but you never know, all the signs are there for EG if you ask me especially if the results hit the ball out the park
