Just had a thought guys which gives me a little comfort and even more dare I say it, excitement, for tomorrow nights quarterly ,so...

Our last report was up to end of December,so 6000-12000m of drilling given its 1-2k per week per 4 drills. Now,what decisions have newcrest made since the last report?they will have had real time data and we are assuming are likely 3-5 weeks ahead of us,so when they made and reported the bringing forward of the 25m and even the draw down and possible increased drill count ,it will have been based a fair bit on the delayed results from tomorrow night( which would have been more newcrest real time results back then and only reported tomorrow.when some of those decisions were made,I think this is the data they were made on,so frankly I just can’t see them being poor in any way,you don’t make decisions to speed up so drastically and draw down cash etc for nothing, will we find out tomorrow what first made them tear up the Jv and throw everything at this time and spend wise?in addition to what we have already,but then why didn’t they ramp up last year early on to this extent. This story is about to get a whole lot more interesting folks. Good luck to all

Just keep the research up Risk, there will be trades to be had here to increase your shareholding if you time them right, but personally tried on this share and got caught out, the only reason I am up 400% is because of my long term strat, add on the dips rather than sell on the spikes. Many others are 400% or more up here and none of us are selling, that speaks volumes considering my holding is already at a lifechanging amount and yet I am still risking it all. this will be the share of 2020 I make no bones about it, the marketis only just waking up to this globally significant find. The SP will behave like people predict but over a much longer timeframe I predict. Its not like we ahve found that much more since jan yet we were 2p back them, we dont have revenue yet, and mining usually take decades. The SP will always lag behind our potential until that is realised MRE or later. 400k shares could just change your life by retirement age at 60, now wouldnt that be nice, and none of the stress of trying to time the market. just a thought, but good luck with whatever you choose.

For you Risk, it most likely is with your short term trading strategy. Its us LTH’s who will benefit as frankly non of us care what the SP is on thursday. If you did some reasearch and were prepared to hold these shares until the endf of the eyar, you would be handsomly paid, surely having left all that money on the table last couple of months you have learnt your lesson here and have changed strat to hold? Otherwise cant really help, Aim is volitile and news driven, good luck with your trade. PS, NC are a 24b company, one of their exploration projects at early stage is not going to drive their SP much, price of gold will do that however.

20 years they say from exploration to production, NC should have it done in under 5, that has to tell you something!!!

For those of you wondering if we will get $200 per OZ and how significant even a 10moz find let alone a 20moz find is at this point in our history, then take a read of this from the mining journal on gold discoveries over the last 30 years.

“explorers have allocated 54bill US to gold exploration over the past decade 62% higher than the 32b spent over the previous 18 years.

Despite the effort only 215.5 MOZ has been discovered in 41 discoveries over the last DEACADE compared with 1.7b ounces in 222 discoveries over the preceeding 18 year period. Over half that amount is contained in just 10 discoveries.

S&P metals and mining senior research analyst kevin murphy said previous research into gold lead in times showed that it took about 20 years for an asset to advance from early exploration to production.

this timeline implies that the reduced discovery rates of the last decade will limit the pool opf projects that could come online in 15-20 years

unless discovery rates begin an upswing in the near future there will be a lack of quality assets available for development in the longer term

The above is taken from an article back in 2018 but still has relevance. Remember what SB said, finding gold is rare, finding these grades is even more rare. Havarion represents a new era for NC in the region, renewal of their asset portfolio is my take away.

What we have discovered here it huge, when put into context and againt the backdrop of global termoil and outlook for gold, well, we are sitting on a literal gold mine, if you can afford to hold these until buyout or production, you will be a much richers man/womasn than you are today, this discovery is going to be GLOBALLY significant.

I certainly wouldnt, I guess you have a chance of people getting cold feet and taking profit prior to news today or tomorrow, but equally they should be offset by new investors buying in for the good news so its a hard one to call. I think we will remain broadly flat around 8.5-9.5 and then hopefully fireworks after news.

Was just going to say, as much as I am hoping for an update in Rig count, do when know when we first spotted 10 possible rigs on site? reason I ask is the RNS from NC regarding their 40% was issued 1/4 and stated they had 8 rigs in operation, so the additional 2-4 would have to have come after 1/4 then and certainly not in these results.

Personally Paddy, I am hoping for more of the same like last time, those wonderful words, “remains open at” a heading of further outstanding high grade results from havarion, mention of possibly 10 rigs and whats going on in the SW, on top of this, infill to had 23 and more on the new breccia high grade zone around had 42 I think it was. Some progress on permiting and decline planning and possibly some comments from GH on scale again.

Its two updates from here IE next quarterly, that I think the real value and MRE may come. Im expecting 6000-12000m of results in this release also, weve never had close to that many results or holes, remember first ones were with only 2 drills. certainly no sleep for me tomorrow night, I am going to read that doc over and over and over like last time, hopefully with the same feeling of glee thinking to myself this is jjust too good to be true. GLA, not long now until another large part of the puzzle is added, we may even start to have a clearer guess as to what the full picture of this puzzle may ulitmately look like,all we know right nowis its big, dam big
