How csn they not make momey on credit cards with +20% apr? Just give to ppl with better credit scores

Due to the share dillution the original share holders only hold around 25% of the bank now. I reckon they will be wiped out an robbered within 12 mths.

What was the point in given 50% of the bank away to raise around 100 million last year to then sell the mortgage book off at a 100 million loss.

Are they gonna still sell new mortages and use the sale proceeds they gonna receive. The ppl who run this bank are a joke.

Recently announced there cancelling do credit cards and are closing ppls accounts.

No, i am an investor with a £2 average and was happy with the rise yesteeday. But wondering why the supposely 8 week court case that started 1st of feb has not been mentioned as the outcome matters. If bt wins then im hoping £1.50+ is coming

Why is there no information available about the court case outcome? Says started 29th jan. I read expected to finish 15 March. Another site said 8 weeks so 22 March. Cannot find any recent news this month

No change in div to q3. 10% higher is compared to a yr ago q4 2022

With the biggest shareholder (a billionaire) now owning 53%, he could easily pay 250 million around £1.40 a share to put the original share holders who own 173 million shares finally out of our missory. Then pay of these expensive bonds that we are paying stupid % of interest on. Replay them with his own millions an charge a reasonable 5 or 6%. Metro with reduced interest costs will then be a profitable bank.

Or are we original share holders who now only own 25% of the bank just going to get cheated out of our shares over the next few yrs for free like they have just done with the share dillution.

If someone owns over 30% of a business dont they hsve to offer to buy everyone else out. We now have a 53% shareholder

Mortgages are less risky then unsecured loans and credit cards. And if loan to value on a house at say 80%. Why do they have to hold so much capital incase of losses.

There saying if they sell 3 billion worth of mortgage they will reduce 1 billion they have to hold.

Why have ro hold 33% in case. Doesnt make sense. No point doing motgages at say 5% interest if you have to tuck away 33% in cash.

An if people dont pay the house would have to drop a lot if they had a amx loan to value of say 80%

For somone to get a 44% increase in stake they should have had to put a decent amount in like 400 million. 102 million is a robery to existing share holders in my opinion

With 500 million more shares in issue we have 673 million shares. If metro ever hits 1.5 billion value again that would only be £2.22 a share.

Yes the 150 million is 30p for new shares. Wont be hitting £1 for years now with that dilution
