I'm still looking at them signing up with SDST - but they'll need to have Bassu develop new ASIC's for that .............. this would move them up into SaaS/Data Licensing and much higher margin territory, get them away from the low margin HW business, where the integrator takes the lions share?

As Mike posted a while back - making CZT crystals is a very tricky process, one that very few can achieve - as evidenced by Phillips throwing in the towel.

Whilst EV batteries work just fine at 99.5% - military grade batteries need a much higher level of purity 99.9% min - and whilst the VMD process can facilitate this, without the spectral analysis only now available with CZT sensors - its the only way to verify the quality.

If this becomes the de facto standard - expect a stampede!

As we've all seen, pretty neutral news release this morning - although they are in an enforced "quiet" period ahead of publishing their full year in September.

Remember that as far back as 30 January 2024, they said “We continue to work with a US lithium processing customer on integrating our CZT based monitoring systems.” and in January this year “CEO Arnab Basu noted, "The Group is seeing accelerating industry-wide adoption of CZT technology... particularly in industrial segments requiring high-resolution contaminant detection." And in March 26 at a trade showcase, Kromek technical leads discussed the use of CZT for "real-time elemental analysis in chemical processing environments."

Looks to me like they've been collaborating/testing/integrating for quite some time - news of a deal very shortly?

I'm tracking a US company - SDST - Stardust Power. Like KMK, as small cap and, whilst in prime position for a huge amount of Federal Grants, which have been slowed by the antics of the current administration - needs a differentiator, especially for the new defence grade batteries which their DoD are going to set at 99.95% or above - looks to me, from researching the CZT sensors as there is a very logical fit here.

Any thoughts?

After 2 huge block trades:

Friday 24 April 2026: a single 3,499,878‑share print at 10.7848p and Friday 17 April 2026: total day volume 6,326,175 shares someone is building a very large position ahead of the company meeting on 30th April.

Combine this with 2 very large submission for Federal funding from SDST in the US and I think there is a distinct link.

The KMK czt scanner are exactly the specification that the DoE and DoD want to have their battery grade lithium at 99.9% - not 99.5% along with providing the digital fingerprint to show FEOC free and also comply with the strict NEPA environmental standards.

Brand new market for KMK who are already Cornerstone members and used by the DoD - this could be a HUGE breakthrough!

Its next Thursday - April 30th, the end of 2026 Fiscal Year.

I share your frustration - just remember yesterday they placed the 5.5m of non-dilutitive shares and the 13D/G's need to be filed tomorrow so that they can be on record for the DoE submission on Thursday to show no FEOC. The remaining 2m will be held for liquidity against the $10m B Riley line of credit

I'm still in, hoping that a combination of the Cornerstone Consortium along with 311 Group have them in their hands - they will not be spun back on to the market. These are groups that want to have and hold. This will show a strong State and Defence alignment that will further support their DoE bid .................. and at some point, they have to call out embedding the KMK czt sensors in their refinery design!

If the 13D/G filings are made tomorrow - the short selling vultures will scatter as we will all know who holds the majority of the stock and what they paid for them.
