For info - July 14 (Reuters) – U.S. online sales during Amazon.com Inc's Prime Day shopping event jumped 8.5% from last year to nearly $12 billion, as inflation-hit Americans pounced on discounted essentials and electronics, showed data from Adobe's Digital Economy Index.

Amazon said on Thursday the two-day shopping event, on July 12 and 13, was its biggest ever globally, with members of its Prime loyalty program purchasing more than 300 million items, or 100,000 products a minute.

Well it's nearly a month since the bids were withdrawn around the £2 mark.
If there is true value and growth potential in THG (which is absolutely the case) then a bid is almost certain and I am totally confident that one (or more) are being drawn up!
On bid alert! Circa £2.50 area GLA.

Signal update STAY LONG

I'm expecting something to happen from Apollo, Advent and/or CVC here OR a long awaited strategic update / Q2 statement - why wouldn't they to support the share price for the PI. Delay / lack of news / no director buys suggests something is going on!

Well this is getting to be a long time without news - the only thing I can think of here is that the main institutional investors are being sounded out (1 by 1) to take this off the market - this is taking the time. Unless there is an update on softbank and/or a spin off of the divisions separately as muted.
Something is definitely going on in the background and we need to find out what it is.
One thing for sure - you will see the price jump when things are finally revealed- surely before September!

"Sources said THG had been contacted by the Takeover Panel on the matter late Thursday afternoon. The revelation comes after months of speculation about possible bids and after Moulding appeared to give the green light to potential buyers.

Offers would need to hit the range of '£2 to £2.50' to get Moulding to the table, the sources said. The company declined to comment. One source said the 'fair value' of the business could be at least £4."

Totally agree with this take out price and the recent activity of tidying things up with share scheme, charity and Chairman's £1m buy
