I think when you look at the list of lenders and the ECA's, it is heartening. And with that support behind us, plus the demands of the market (for nickel) , the outlook seems v good.
LawrenceH - I am new here and invested in a modest way after some reading and research. Thanks for that useful summary - its very helpful. I think there's great potential here - but each to their own. Look forward to the journey.
EUA seems to hold a lot of good cards in hand. The biggest sign for me was.. "On May 20, the company announced a private placement of 53.3mln shares and warrants to a single institutional investor at the market price of 26.5p per share and associated warrant, for gross proceeds of £14.1mln or about US$20mln."
The point for me is that any ii buying 53m shares at 26.5p are only doing so because they believe it's going to fly. They know more than we do and they will expect a multi-bagger.
The signs are right.
Patience!
I believe the issue with the bb this morning was a glitch in the matrix, given that apparently, we are all living in a simulation. :)
Yep - some action would be good.
After coming on this board about a month ago, I've gradually bought into EUA.
Some of you pointed me to information that was helpful and I did some research and read what I could.
I've just bought another 4,000 or so to take my tally to just over 100,000 shares.
Not at the prices some of you guys got, and not the numbers you have, but hey ho.
Feel quite pleased to have taken 100,000 shares off the market during the MM shenanigans.
All at my own risk, of course.
GLA
Good luck Hopper. Hope you're ok.
Not everyone is experienced.
Some of us are new. Doesn't mean you can't learn and invest.
There's surely room for any/all questions.
Thanks.
If every sell is also a buy, what determines how it shows up on the list?
No, wait. I've also got Smith & Nephew. That's another £20.
It keeps getting better!
Of those, I've got ...... wait for it.....
M&G. I can expect to net about £80.
And I intend to spend it on riotous living.
Shortly means sooner than 'in a while' but not as soon as 'soon'. Definitely sooner than 'before long' but not as soon as 'imminent'. Maybe somewhere between 'presently' and 'in the near future'. Hope that helps. ;)
Bumble - that's incredible. The smart thing of course is to be able to spot those opportunities at the time, keep watching developments, have faith in them and retain them.
I would think for every one you get right, a number could go wrong.
I don't have the experience to gauge these opportunities, and to commit to them early doors.
However I'll keep researching and reading.
As mac and others have said, quality research was key to EUA.
Deneway, we mean that you can buy for ~25p now. Back in the day 25p could have got you 50 shares. We're approximating here - just illustrating a point.
Cheers.
Thanks for feedback. Some brilliant stories there - buying at 0.45p and 0.7p etc. As some of you have said, you've researched it well and it must have taken some nerve to stay in there when it did rise to 44p or whatever.
Bumble - yes , as you say, the early investors could have ~ 50 shares for every one bought now.
Well, lets see what the next few days/weeks brings. I hope you guys nail it.
I have bought in myself at around the 25p mark, as I'm new to this and had never heard of EUA until about a week ago, so not going to make a fortune if it flies, but will still enjoy the ride.
Feel a bit of a fraud jumping in at 25p, but that's share dealing - it is what it is.
Good luck.
Presumably now that things are hotting up, big money players can come in, put £1M down, buy a shed load of shares at 25p and sell them if/when it hits £2.00 (say) and make a killing. So they haven't gone through the pains and anguish that you guys have, but still walk away with good money.
Doesn't seem right, but that's what happens presumably if you have that kind of money.
Wow. So at that stage, you are taking a punt presumably.
... very well done. Not there yet, but heading in right direction, so hats off to you!
Getting in at that stage gives you the chance to get shares at what kind of price? 10p? 1p?.
Interested to know how that works.
Obviously a certain amount of risk as you don't know how things will pan out and needs good nerves to stick it out. Hope it works out for all of you. I enjoy the banter and learning.
What could cause a suspension in this case? Typically?
After it is lifted, I take it there would be a feeding frenzy of buyers all wading in?
Presumably shorts would be hit badly, as the price wouldn't drop.
Just joined here recently and gaining experience.
After some research, I’ve recently bought into EUA - averaging around the .24p price. I had no knowledge of it around the suspension time and the drop to .15p etc.
Could some kind soul provide some answers / input to these novice questions?
What is going on at close time with some big buys (1,000,000 shares etc..)? Is this a genuine buyer who is stocking up or are there other tactics at work here?
Also near close time I see some of you taking about them fixing the price at .24 or .25p or whatever. Why is this important? What real difference does it make in long term?
Is a UT just a balancing of the buys and sells (I’ve read up on this, but still not sure)?
If this expects to take off with the possible purchase of EUA, why are the big buyers not just buying like crazy right now? Do they want the price to drop first, or perhaps don’t want to commit fully until they know this is going to fly?
Is the information on this page about no. of shorts accurate? I see people talking about shorts, but there appears to be none.
Others are talking about a dividend, but I can’t see any reference to a dividend and they’ve never paid one. Presumably they need to have a profitable business first, so why talk about dividends?
And w t f is a kipper? (apart from the obvious). I presume it’s a purchase.
I enjoy the chat and the banter and I’m learning from it.
Thanks for any responses.
If it went to £2.10 and trading was suspended as everyone wanted to sell, what happens then? How does it sort itself out?
