Is there anything to suggest news this week or just pure hopium?

I work at a big company who have sold off parts before and seen the process takes a long time for all the data room due dilligence etc. Would expect next update to be at end of Jan with the review of Q4 operations where i'll be looking out for update on the marine jetty works due to have taken place in Nov/Dec. Hoping for substantial updates on next steps in progressing to financial close but said that on 5th Jan last year!

Would expect minor reference to 'ongoing sales process' and nothing more substantial until at least March if i had to guess

I agree, that looks very positive! I'd previously been concerned about the 2m due to PowerChina today and how that would be funded so this raise covering that and plenty of runway gives time to either sell the company at a good level or secure the financing themselves.

6% dilution to massively reduce risk of distressed sale feels like small price to pay imho

Think worth correcting that the original CBS material is included in the FS and it's the so called CBS2 that is not factored in,

Directly from the FS:

'indicate that an average of around 225,000 tonnes of this new type of CBS2 material might be produced per year in addition to the 247,000 tonnes of the original CBS that have been included in the Feasibility Study'

But completely agree with the sentiment of market missing this big value of $100m/year added revenue

Largest shareholder and i can't find anything about him online... guessing it's a mega rich family trust set up but owning 13% of KP2 is a hell of a estate plan?

What do we infer from the £1.2m raise? Looks like cash burn of 3.5m in last 6 months so suggests they looking to get through next 2 months and then picture will be different? Or more raises in 2 months and didnt want to scare us?

Few comments around the timing of the equity raise but i'm sat wondering why they didn't do it last week at 20% discount and been rolling in 3.5p shares! Agreed that the major shareholders topping up is positive news and keeps the lights on until some major dough arrives with some diggers in tow!

It is quite a bland update tbh, good to see they are making progress on small milestones but nothing really annouced.

I remain somewhere between concerned and intrigued about the finances as they run out of money in 2 weeks...

From all the RNS RE the PowerChina EPC (most recently stated on 12th Sep: https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/KP2/financial-results-for-half-year-ended-30-june-2025-6ucivypzurcq5ok.html)

"The remaining USD2.2 million to be paid not later than 12 months of the signing of the EPC on 19 November 2024."

Todays report shows "As of 30 September 2025, the Company held c.US$2.13 million in cash."

So they need to raise cash or complete the financing in the next 2 weeks...

Doesn't feel like that's about to happen from that update but be happy to be wrong...

Worth noting the pretty high ownership % of CEO and Vision blue - they will be keen to avoid dilution funding wherever possible

Agreed on the maritime delays which if i recall were due to weather constraints until October/November.

Company accounts show they're out of cash in November when the next PowerChina payment is due but it's also the target date for the financing agreements...

So feels like its fully funded lift off or dilution in the next few weeks?
