If you use The Share Centre for dealing you get a discount on all trade charges, they also pay a divi each year. I've saved over £700 on dealing charges since I bought some.

Today is a bit weird......I have a very comprehensive spread sheet that covers my portfolio (circa 20 stocks) and other investments......One of the items I've included tells me the average spread across above stocks......usually it is in the range of 8-12%......today it is 18%, the highest I've seen it (previously 14%ish a couple of times in 5 years)....and it isn't just ACTA contributing

I was thinking.....if I was looking to invest in this sector, and was scanning just bid & ask prices I wouldn't even consider a company with such high spread

By showing a high ask price, can it be assumed mms are trying to put people off buying?
