At the risk of looking very foolish, I have to ask;

What is to stop all nations converting their currencies to digital and collectively denouncing BTC rendering it worthless? I’m curious as I never under estimate the systems ability to keep the common man down. Still intend on doubling my ARB investment Monday as I stated yesterday, just an honest curiosity I have since reading about Lithuania making a digital currency in another topic on this forum.

What’s to stop all Nations doing this and collectively saying Bitcoin isn’t real, our digital currencies are real.

I’ll be buying any dip on Monday if I can, selling a few shares and reshaping my portfolio to make that happen.

I don’t understand why anybody would aim to damage people’s financial prospects without some sort of personal reason. Especially us Argonauts, as far as I’m concerned we should be helping each other accumulate wealth, it’s the common man versus the system after all in my eyes. If I could in anyway I’ll help anyone do well, I would.

I hope you’re right, even my modest holding would be game changing for me and my family at £10 a share.

Thanks everybody for your contributions. I’ll keep researching, keep trying to expand my understanding of BTC before deciding whether to buy into it, there’s more to it than meets the eye for sure. I’ll still be adding 2x to my Argo holding, whatever happens. (My ARB shares are relatively small by comparison to a lot of people, no doubt.) As a relative amount for me it’s quite a lot at stake however.

Ok guys thanks for the advice. I must admit I don’t fully understand it at this point, however the more I research, the more it appeals to me.
