Jones, I’m self employed and on Fridays I have nothing better to do than clutch at straws....as long as there’s a G&T at one end. Back in my box now, no further encouragement from me.
Tomrea. If he said that he expects ‘the deal’ rather than ‘a deal’ to be complete by the end of the year, then that implies there is a deal and he’s working on it...IMHO of course :-)

I wonder if the majority of PI’s would accept 50p (not that it will be in our hands). Whilst I would be very disappointed after 8.5 years, I know I would accept just to be done with AIM...
After 8.5 years here, I’d have to say no. In fact this will be my last foray in AIM, my personal pension scheme is averaging 10/12% growth per annum......if only I’d chosen this route 8.5 years ago!

Mrs StMary knows how much they were worth at £1. She keeps asking me how much they are worth now and I’ve told her to wait as I don’t want to ruin the surprise :-/
I agree with Partridge. £1 and I’ll move on neither happy, nor unhappy. I will still have made more than if my money was on deposit for 8 years with a High Street bank.
