Palladium at all-time high as car production resumes in China

The price of palladium hit a new record high of $2,817.22 per ounce amid encouraging news that several carmakers in China resumed the production in their factories, following by disruption and stoppage in production and car deliveries, due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Meanwhile, large vehicle-makers such as General Motors, Fiat Chrysler and Toyota expect their virus-affected production in China to restart soon while German car manufacturer Audi AG already reopened its plants in the country on Monday.

Palladium soared 8.34% to $2,815.47 at 4:05 am ET on Wednesday.

I would of thought the value of the asset's possibly for sale , must be based on the estimated weight of the precious minerals in the ground and perceived longevity of the license's and of course ease of extraction , which we have in abundance !
