I posted the above chart Nov 15 with a price target of 65.25 with a view of getting long.
It's now reached that but we could do with a decent bounce before getting in. If it carries on down I'll be on the sidelines.

When the price action sets up as it has since August, the share price can play out as shown. It may or may not, as I said I'm a chart analyst and have no skin in the game, just an appraisal of what I see currently. TBH I'm surprised not to see a pop upwards today given most FTSE 100 stocks are up. If, and it's a big if, it reaches 65p I'll be a buyer

I've been looking to get long in VOD for a while, a good company, I even worked there for 3 years in 2012, but there's no fighting this trend. I'm a chart guy and this is looking like it's heading down for a while yet with a target of 65.25p.
I'll be a buyer at that level. If you're in already and underwater, keep trousering the dividends.
Well if you're thinking of holding for 15 years, then yeah I suspect the price will be higher than it is now, along with the div reinvestments etc, you should do OK. My opinion is that this will go up over time, maybe it will continue down again next week\month but I try and not to be overweight in anything, so anything lower I will keep an eye on for buying more and getting my average way down.
Depends on your situation, are you trading these shares via CFD\spreadbet on leverage, if so then getting out to protect your capital is probably a good idea. Either that or have a short hedge in place to ride it out. Never nice seeing a trade bleed out for 6 months etc.
I'm long on LGEN with an average of 210p and will add more if it drops under 200p. I'm holding the shares as an investment via a SIPP. I never listen to advice from share websites, and will hold these for at least a year probably longer
It's a grim looking chart for sure, and looks like it may continue down to about £1.55 at least. I will look for a small long at £1.50, but they need to come up with some reason for people to get in again, cancelling the div albeit on a temp basis is certainly not helping the SP.
On the II platform, we now get a "Corporate Action " alert and (not having done this myself before) I'm assuming if you want to buy the shares at $4.10 you should "exercise the right" and enter the number of shares it's offering you. Click confirm and make sure you have the funds to cover what they will buy from the EZYN market. I guess it will bring my average down a bit
I meant pop as in a Champagne bottle or anything going in an upwards trajectory fairly rapidly. Lovely jubbly!
It might go pop when Odey closes his 1.22% short position
All director share dealings must be notified by RNS, so as of yet there have been none. If they buy a few, I may also, but they presumably see this going lower.
There was a share consolidation, you should have been notified by your broker or provider.(see below) The Company has announced its intention to return approximately £200 million to Shareholders, equivalent to 75p per Share for each Share held at close of business on 27th May 2014. At the same time the Company is implementing a consolidation of its Share Capital, whereby Shareholders will receive 79 new Shares in place of every 83 Shares previously held. The Return of Cash gives Shareholders options as to how and when they receive their proceeds. You should have received 75p for every share you owned on May 27th, plus you'll need to adjust your portfolio to reflect the new share status (79 new shares for every 83 previously owned) You can do this on most portfolios.
