George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Bac/ we have been doing McLaren cyber security for the last year, so its "you scratch my back ,i scratch yours"
Lending/ exactly right. I am not trying to be a big time Charlie or a know it all, i am genuinely worried about some on here. I dont want to see them lose money. We both know day traders dont last long.
Mr Long/you just dont get it. In fact i would like to see the SP go down before the 5th April, because i want to sell some,so i can bank a loss for tax reasons. But i am not bothered one way or the other. I will say this one more time. Short time i dont care about the SP. My lowest buy was 211p. if it goes below £2 i will buy more. I am 152K shares long with an average of 450p. I have a strategy that i have developed over 40 years. When i take a position in a stock i expect to hold it for 3 years ,unless the fundamentals change. So if the SP goes up or down 10% next week, what will you do?
MrLong/ You havent a clue about investing
KC/maybe just for you, i should have said that i cant see any movement in the SP on Wednesday, when the half year results are announced. Let me put it another way. I do care about the results but i dont give a "monkeys" about the SP. I cant see growth stocks improving until the FED pivots and starts cutting interest rates.
I cant see any change in the SP on Tuesday. We have just had an update. The results will be in line with expectations ,We might get a 5% up or down on Tuesday but you wont see a sea change while market sentiment is bearish. Short term i have no interest in the SP. I am betting on the SP being higher, 6 months,1 or 2 years time
obviously, dual listing
I would like us to be listed on the Nasdaq. When the last one of mine(Tremor) listed on Nasdaq, it put 30% on the SP. Although not long after the SP crashed(lucky enough i was out of it by then) but that was due to market selloff in tech. The americans buy stocks .its the place to be. In my opinion the SP should be around the £6 mark. This bear market wont last forever, when growth stocks go back in vogue, we will be re-rated
Panda/ You only have to look at how the media portrays shareholders as parasites. Without investment you get no growth
The Euro and the Dollar are both strong against the pound ,which helps
Win/your right, ive just got home from the pub(the William Webb Ellis)and it was empty!!
Win/that reminds me of Tom Jones, he used to live a few miles away from Twickenham in Shepperton.
Win/you welsh should stop all that singing and get some coal up!! It will be a nightmare tomorrow in Twickenham, i wont be able to get into my local pub but i always enjoy it when you boys come to Twickenham. Good luck for tomorrow ,youre going to need it!!
yes ,its all nonsense. He sounds like a sore loser ,by selling out he crystallised a loss. Ive done it a few times. He should move on ,he is obviously not a fan of DT
With DT your buying jam tomorrow. With growth stocks like DT your buying the "bird in the bush". If you like DT use the SP to top up on the dips. If you dont like DT sell up and move on.
Panda/ lets hope you get your way. The LSE and the UK needs DT to be a success ,its about time we had a world leading tech firm. That is why i dont want us to go private. If we marry ourselves up or get taken over by one of our peers, we can stay with it.
Watch/it just got a mention on Bloomberg. Judging by the rise in the SP the market sees it as a positive
I like how they released the news today, with the american market off. So little news ,our RNS should get more media attention
Blackrock do it all the time, they did it with Blinkx. Eventually i expect us to be taken out by the americans. It looks like their taking out Kape. We wont be far behind
Only a fool would take notice of Motley Fool ,,they use a negative view and the next week a positive one, ,ignore
